I have an account in HDFC bank. I opened account as salary account but after quitting that company my salary account get converted to saving account; HDFC bank did not give any intimation regarding conversion of account.
And other thing is I did not operate that account for more than 18 month & balance was zero. But later I joined new company & then again I start operating HDFC bank account as salary get credited to my HDFC account every month. Then what HDFC bank did they have deducted Rs. 3905.00( Three thousand five only). Regarding that HDFC bank did not give any intimation.
My question is why did HDFC bank charged such high value penalty? If my account is idle for long time then why HDFC bank freeze the account.
I want to know what mistake I did for that I have to pay such big penalty
