Dear Operation Team,
Greetings of the Day!
I want to register a Official Complaint for highly dissatisfying way of handling
guest account from Axis Bank.
This is with reference to Opening of New Account with Axis Bank Limited I had got an
confirmation from Axis Bank that an New Account with following details been
* BANK - AXIS BANK LIMITED, VASANTKUNJ, NEW
* Name - Biswa Mohan Dash
* Account No - 119010100223447
* Address - 1529, Laxmi Bai Nagar, New Delhi-110023
In the month I had received an cheque book on above address from Axis bank and
noticed that no debit card inside and immediately called up axis bank to stop any
fraud and called up Mr. Vishnu Axis Bank Customer Service personal at Vasantkunj,
Nelson Mandela Branch. And been assured that no fraud will happen and immediately
blocked the account and upon request from Mr. Vishnu for Debit card again submitted
and additional photograph as per him the first card was not generated due to system
After submission of photographs again the card was again not received at my end.
Hence self revisited the Vasantkunj Branch on 23.09.09 and upon enquiry found that
the original account balance was 28272.00 and withdrawal of 28200/- been done
without my notice and upon further enquiry its found that the card was delivered by
bank in some other address i.e. HOTEL UPPAL'S ORCHID, New Delhi.
The unauthorized transactions of debits as under in the month of August 2009:-
As due to Puja Holidays I need money to spend and as per Bank I have to wait till
their investigation finishes. Above incident is a Big Shock and Mental Tension for
Me as we from middle class background getting such an incident is big shock in my
life and have no money in hand to spend during Puja Holidays for self and Family.
As the above case was already submitted to Vasantkunj Branch Manager request you to
please look into the said matter and resolve it urgently.
As I was already holding account of Axis Bank since Nov-2002, above incident was big
shock in my life and towards the impression of AXIS BANK and the Reputation in stake
Request you to pls. help me with my Money Urgently. As per my meeting with Branch
Manager, Nelson Mandela Road, Vasantkunj self requested for an deadline for
resolving the above issue, though they had unable to give any time frame still
assured self to hold the same till Tuesday i.e. 29.09.2009, Hence I will be holding
the self mail till then.

Rs 4500/- debit balance in salary savings account of axis bank
This is to inform you that I Sourin Sengupta having a salary savings
account in AXIS BANK, my A/C no-319010100390262 at saltlake city
sector -5, Kolkata 700091 branch. I am working with Royal Sundaram
Alliance insurance company ltd.
I am fasing a setrious problem that my account shows Rs 4401/-(four
thousand four hundred one) debit balance for over withdrawl where Rs
99/-(ninety nine) has already deducted from my account without any

the following branch regarding the same but they could not provide me
with asatisfactory clarification and they want deduct the above
mentioned amount from my salary account when my salary will come which
created a problem for my personal life and social life.
I request you to please look after this problem and not to deduct any

I opened NRI account with minimum balance of Rs5000 but later they have deducted Rs500 for ATM card and cheque book which I am not aware of it.
They didnít send any account statement to my email address to let me know about this even though they have my email address (very clearly mentioned in my account statement).
When I go to bank after 1 1/2 years they have told me that I have nil balance in my account. When I enquired about this they told me that if my account balance is less than Rs5000 they will deduct Rs280 every month and also many more which I can see in the statement they have provided to me.
Even after many discussions and empty promises to return back my money until now nothing has been done.
Please send this as many people as you know so that our hard earned money will not be looted by the banks in the name of bank rules.
BEWARE WHEN YOU OPEN NRI ACCOUNT WITH AXIS BANK IN INDIA.
Please give me some feedback what should I do next to teach them a lesson.

before taking any scheme be circumvent to enqwuire all rules and now you can request their chiarman in this connection in writing preferably by registered post and then he may help you. legal action in your case is not suggestible
