With due respect, I would like to bring to your kind notice with deep sorrow that Mr. Siddharth Nigam and Mr. Tarun Khanna of HDFC Bank, Govind Nagar Branch, Kanpur visited my home last year to allot the above policy in my name and explained verbally the terms & conditions of the above Policy wherein Premium Installment was Rs.50 000/- in next two years, which I was not in a position to pay and I regretted to take this Policy. Then they assured and committed that they will arrange to reduce the above amount from Rs.50,000/- to Rs.10,000/-, and the sane was also confirmed by Mr. Gaurav Srivastava of HDFC SLIC Ltd., Swarup Nagar Branch, Kanpur, then only I agreed to take the above policy. Now all the above 3 persons have been transferred to some other HDFC Bank Branches and now Bank is denying to reduce the above amount.

Further, I surrendered my Original Policy Bond alongwith cheque of Rs.10,000/- well in advance (before 45 days from the due date of Policy) to HDFC Bank, Govind Nagar Branch, Kanpur and taken receipt of the same. I am surprised to note that there is no response, till date, and shown unawareness of the documents and cheque. After expiry of due date when I did not receive the Policy duly renewed, then I visited their HDFC SLIC Ltd., Swarup Nagar on 9th Sept., 2009, and pursued the matter, then they searched the documents in their files and found them in their files. I shocked that such type of negligency of their staff and now they are taking action after expiry date and committing me that my work will be done and I will get my Policy duly renewed. The time of expiry date is about one month is being passed and they are saying today and tomorrow, and time is linger on. I am afraid that my Policy may not be lapsed.

I would, therefore, request your goodself to kindly look into the matter and take necessary action against the staff of HDFC Bank for their negligency and arrange to set right my above case, for which, I shall be very much thankful.
