Angry AQB Charges deducted from Savings A/c HDFC bank

    Hi,

I have a hdfc savings a/c (00761140091647 , MG ROAD, BANGALORE) where my salary used to get credited till March 2010.
Now that i have moved to a different Organisation , i have another account opened which is a mandate.

However now i use my hdfc savings a/c only for some purpose and some other small transactions.
Suddenly i see that the amount of 827.25 has been debited two times from my HDFC Savings A/c with a description of AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS OCT-DEC2011 & AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS JUL-SEP2011

I wonder whom to contact and how to get my money back. the bank doesnt have any rights to take it without any prior intimation.

This is ridiculous. Want the bank to reverse/ credit my amount back.

    Regards
    Pradeep

    HI,

I have also faced the same issue with HDFC BANK Tnagar. I'm holding this account for 6 years, but all of a sudden, they have started debiting some AQB charges since 2010. They have not informed anything related to this either by mail, phone or physical letter. My account # 02061xxxxxxxxxxxxxx3101, ROOPA R , was a salary account with zero balance,i have got confirmation from may officials for aero balance account, but suddenly they have created some new policies & without any formation they stated taking amount from my account, till date they have debited Rs.3519.96 from my account. I han "N" Number of communocation over this with bank & nothing was happend,i have givn instructions to close all my HDFC account, they have not done anything on that but pronptly debiting my account towards AQB charges, Tax towards that etc.... I need my Money back , this is my money & HDFC cannot enjoy taking my ammount under some unknown charges, I need a justice on this HDFC Illegal activity, taking other money with no prior information.

    Regards,
