    Default Settlement of Deceased Saving Bank Account.

    Dear Sir,

    My father holds Savings Bank Account with Vijaya Bank, Paharganj. He was expire on 25.07.2009. Balance stands in his account around Rs.1,30,000/-. Nomination not registered by him . There is no dispute in my family. We have two brothers, one sister and my mother. My mother is housewife, sister is married and my brother 36 years old and suffering with cerebral palsy. I am a government servant. Bank demands succession certificate for the same.

    What can I do? Please suggest.

    My Grandfather having SB A/c 12588 in P.N.B,Clive Row Branch,Kolkata,he is dead on 15.11.2005 before he dead he nominate me as a nominee in her a/c,in written letter,at present the amount is around 5.lakh,at the time of nomination bank is confiremd me that ur nomination formilities is complete and written my copy word"Complied",after the death of My Grand father bank is refused me,and say that ur nomination formilities is not complete and ur not nominee,My father have 4 brother and 4 sister,the bank is demanding me a succesion Ceritficate but i dont know y bank is refused me,the amount is already deposite in bank,how i solve this problem plz guide me.
