My HDFC salary account no- 07941140035512 was closed on 4th Jan 2012 without any intimation by the Bank. Let me elaborate past history of my salary account.
I have received one letter on 5th Dec 2011 from HDFC bank regarding cheque bounce from my account due to insufficient funds for the period 1st July to 30th Sept 2011. The Bank have requested me to provide a letter with detail reason why the cheque bounced from my account and such instances will not recur in future. As per mentioned request from HDFC bank I have submitted the letter to Bank and obtained the receipt on 10 Dec 2011. But on 13th Jan 2012 suddenly I received a DD from HDFC Bank that mention your account has been closed. On further investigation with the concerned Branch manager, I was told that the Bank reserved the right to close the account and this is governed by Bank central team.
I have attached Bank receipt copy.
I would like you to intervene in this matter and help me in retrieving the old account number. This will help me in carrying out the future transactions.
