I am an preferred account holder of HDFC Bank having account no. 05401000144875 in Vashi sector 17 Navi Mumbai. Sundaram Mutual fund have credited Rs10000 towards the redemption amount as direct credit to my account on 10.1.2012. The same was rejected by the bank on the ground that the name is different. Which is not a fact. Instead of initials, the mutual fund has given full name for the purpose of crediting. The bank says that my name in initials only is registered in bank accounts but how is it that the bank has accepted my PAN card bearing a full name? I am an unnnecessary sufferer due to callous attitude of the bank. The bank just passes the buck from one person to another.
