Please do not give up. Remember not to get angry and frustrated during follow up.
I will sahre two of my experiences with ICICI bank. I had participated in the recent "It is mine" programme launced by ICICI credit card. In spite of my
instruction and follow up mails, the gift was delivered to my office instead of residence. I insisted on correcting the mistake within two days and as usual, there was no response, except computer generated auto reply. Then I started pestering the customer care department to give me the e-mail id of
MD of ICICI bank to lodge the complaint. After two reminders, someone called up from the bank and promised to resolve the issue. I grabbed this opportunity and took down the name and telephone number of this officer and started pestering him there after. After 10 days of repeated attempts, the Bank resolved the issue.
The second experience was regarding internet login password for my wife ( we are holding a joint SB account). It took me nearly two months of continous
follow up with call centre to recieve the password.Since the call centre was not giving any compalint reference number, I used to notedown the name of the executive taking the call, date and time of call. After a few follow ups, I insisted on talking to the Team leader. I informed the team leader the
details of my follow up from day one and that if the matter is not attended within next four days, I will close my account and will write a mail to the MD of the bank giving the details of the "Customer care" provided by the call centre.I got the password within four days. Further one excutive from call centre contacted me a couple of times till I confirmed the receipt of the password.

Wish you good luck!

Anil Kumar
