Dear Sir,
I'm Nitin Gupta working with
HCL Technologies, Noida.
I joined HCL Tech. 11-June-09 and my salary account was opened
in AXIS Bank Noida branch. After completing first month I received first month
salary via check which I was submitted in Axis bank as my salary account with them
only and my account was updated with
38600.34/- Rupees on 7th-July-09.
This is the background story of mine, on
10th July 2009 my account was hacked by someone and 38100/- rupees transferred via
net banking without my knowledge, regarding this miss-happening I talked with bank
executive to indentify the account which was updated with transferred amount
but they didn't .
I already informed to the branch head and the concern person regarding the same
but they trying to ignore it, after long follow-up they register the complain on
costumer care portal and I signed and submitted the legal authentication documents
to the bank executive as they told me you don't need to take any legal action from
you end all
the legal action taking care by bank itself, but after completing more than one
month they told me you have to take legal action as I'm follow up the things in
week by weeks.
This time is very difficult for me to resister any complain or F.I.R. after 1.5
months of that cause. I wrote lot of mails to the branch managers and other bank
professionals of Axis Bank but they didn't reply a single mail, I'm really fed up
with day by day’s follow-ups, due to this I'm suffering with physical and mental
pressure as
well as financial crisis.
Security Loop Holes.
In general we get alert and pass code at the time of new registration and without
that pass code the registration will not succeed but in my case I didn’t received
any alert at the time of amount transfer & even registration.
Secondly, at the time of amount transfer axis bank ask for authorization with
random debit card number and without that debit card number amount transfer will
not succeed but in my case amount was deducted from account and updated in there
axis bank account with out my knowledge and without debit card as the debit card is
available
with me only.
