I made ATM transaction of Rs30000/- in IDBI ATM,but my statement in SBI showed Rs 40,000/- cash is withdrawn. This happened on June 1st,2009. On the same day i went to the bank and gave a written complaint that 2 transaction are repeated and there is a flaw in the system.Till now i dont have any update on my case, and when enquired in bank, people dont give respect to customers and we get negligent replies from bank officials. The accountant whom i was coordinating with doesnt have courtesy to respond to my query instead he is busy talking in his cell phone on his Son's admission in the college. Its almost 2 months since i have logged the complaint and i dont see any progress made by SBI. But SBI promised that they can get my money within 12days, but it didnt happen. I even enquired in IDBI bank on this, but they said its not related to them, and suggested me to go to my SBI and push. Bank like SBI should adhere to the process and give respect to customers which they lack, i know everyone is not like that but the one whom i am interacting in SBI is not professional enough to deal the situation. So i need my money back with 2 months interest. My case is evident enough that problem is with the banking system, and SBI is not ready to take proper steps in solving the problem. I would appreciate if you folks expedite the process and get my money back as its more than 2 months. I have given my account no also so that respective departments can check. Looking forward for your reply. Thanks in advance.

    Dear Sir,

To sort out such kind of Banking complaints, you will have to send a written complaint to the Head Office of the concerned Bank and wait for the response for near 15 to 20 days. If the Bank fails to provide you any help in that time frame then you can send your written complaint to the RBIs Banking Ombudsman division.

Pls. provide us your complete postal address, so that we can provide you the address of Banking Ombudsman according to that Jurisdiction.
