    Sub: Dispute in ATM Cash Withdrawal.

    I Sujay Kumar Reddy Chilla bearing an ICICI Savings account (059801511124) since August 2010 tried to withdraw Rs. 15000 from an ICICI AMT in Motinagar on 17-11-2011 at 09:05 AM, unfortunately ATM machine had delivered only Rs: 9500. I was confused and to recheck I took mini statement of my account twice, however it showed a transaction for Rs.15000 and the same was credited from my account. I walked to my ICICI home branch (Mindspace Branch) in Hyderabad to raise a complaint for the same, here they suggested me to contact ICICI Customer Support to raise a complaint, so I did the same and the customer service representative said that he raised a complaint on behalf of me and told that I will receive the Service Request number on my mobile and the process would take 7 working days. On 20-11-2011 I received a message from ICICI which say the SR number (198050330) “Dear Customer, We are unable to reverse the transaction as it has been fully paid for, as per our records.” So I called ICICI Customer Support and he said that the request shows that the amount is fully paid so he could not be of much help to me and suggested me to contact my ICICI home branch (Mindspace Branch). I did the same and representative (Anand) in ICICI Bank suggested me to raise another complaint so that they could recheck and this process would take 3 working days. I contacted Customer Support on 24-11-2011 and a representative told me that the backend department has rechecked and the result was negative, so I once again walked to my ICICI home branch (Mindspace Branch) and spoke to Anand, he too said that same and when I asked to give me an opportunity to prove myself. He suggested me to write a letter to the branch manager saying that I am not satisfied, so that they can forward the complaint to ATM linked branch (Kalayan Nagar branch) and they would in turn send the video clippings of that transaction and this would take 30 days.

    This is what all happened till time and I am not satisfied with the results. I request you to speed up the process and hope I would get a positive result.

    Default Collections Nightmare

    Dear ICICI Bank,

    For the past one month I have had to live with the most harrowing experience from a few agents claiming to be with ICICI bank collection officers opearting out of Rohini-Sector 7 branch in New Delhi.
    They have gone to the extent of calling up my wife and her relatives despite of me being in constant touch with them. The practises being used by these agents under the guidance and supervision of their manager Mr. Arvinder Singh Bali are absolutely immoral and unethical.
    I would like to begin with the names of these agents:

    1. Moksha (Seems to be the Gang Leader)
    2. Manish (Holds a doctorate in hurling abuses to customer regardless of their gender)
    3. Deepak

    These 3 have made my collections case a personal vendetta instead of a case of collections wherein at ceratin points I have even contemplated filing a police report for harassment.
    I am very willing to discuss my case in detail with a responsible member from the ICICI team and am very willing to settle my account with the bank.
    Hopefully I will hear from some matured responsible bank representative at the earliest. I am sure my contact details will be available with the bank.

    Hi,

    My name is D.Sundaresa Guptha.Working with Sitel India pvt ltd.I have a salary account(000101601804) with cenatoph Road.When i opened my account the name on the PAN card was wrong . Actually while opening the account the stupid who came to our office in behalf of ICICI.He told me to fill the same and I can change it at any point of time.So i have filled my info as Sundaresa Guptha Krishna Kumar instead of Sundaresa Guptha Dhandabani.If he had told me at that time itself I might have applied for a new PAN CARD before I create an account.Now i am about to apply for a loan in AXIS Bank.But because of this issue I am not able to.I understand Your bank has certain rules and regulations but don't consider the papers alone.You should have sent some person who have a good knowledge abt the Bank's polisies.I already faced a tragedy with ICICI.I lost my PAN CARD ATM card and also my office ID card.When i asked for a new ATM card they denied service for the reason of not having the ID proof.I struggled a lot to get my account back.Now I have my salary slip and also I have my new PAN card which is also updated in the Bank records.But still they ask for the Gazette certificates.Actually all the records are correct in myside.My mark sheets,TC and also my offer letter.Only because of this i am struggling to apply for a Loan.In ICICI also thay will nit approve loans for the paeople who have salary less than 20000.Atleast they can help us,right.I am a soft natured guy and I cannot fight with all those people again and again.When i tried to raise a complaint in ICICI website it does not work.I am really frustrated on ICICI.Previously I loved only two brands ICICI and AIRTEL..But you have taught me abt the status of ICICI.I know losing one customer like me will not do any badness to your organisation.but I can atleast close my account and I can make some of my office mates to do that.It's aprofessional forum and i beleive that you will get back.

    I have all my certificates pan card Ration card.Even the ration card copy youhave in your files has the same name(Sundaresa Guptha D).And also i request you to change my account branch to Triplicane.The cenatoph road's service sucks.When i asked for an ATM card a lady,(I beleive she will be sitting in the counter 1,2,or 3) spoke to me rudely.This is customer service and not something else. i know more abt it because I work for a customer service.Please employ someone who knows more about customer service.In HDFC my friend from my same company faced a issue,were he too lost all his ID proofs and in HDFC they helped him with the ID proofs from the records they have.But I asked only for the ATM card and a name change with all proofs.But still u say security reasons.When the account holder himself can't access means what the fuck the security is gonna do here. i am really sorry to write like this.I am writing this in a total frustration. In gazette they are asking me to get the letter from the Thasildar and form my VAO of my native for this simple issue.

    Default ICICI service issue

    On Friday 09/MAR/2012 at 7 PM, ICICI put me in such embarrassing situation where I regretted my association with the bank. ICICI servers were down for hours. At 7:05 PM on 09/Mar/2012, I got my car fuel tank full on a filling station (petrol pump). I gave them my debit card but it didn’t work as ICICI servers were down. At 7:15 PM, Fuel station’s manager sent a worker in my car to the nearest ATM. My card didn’t work there either. I got my wife card and that didn’t work either. Till 8:00 PM I had visited almost all ATMs in the vicinity. I came back to filling station to request to take money next day but they declined my request as they had bad experience in past. I called up customer care but they didn’t inform me that server is down but on the contrary they kept me on hold for so long. I tried 3 times and every time I got no help. I then visited ICICI Bank at SECTOR 61 , NOIDA (branch code: 000253). The ICICI staff was in the bank and was waiting for server to come up so that they can perform closure. They informed me that server is down since 4 PM and they got no information when the server would be back. The bank staff appeared more frustrated than me because of server issue. This is completely improper and unacceptable. There is no communication to customers through SMS/email about the downtime or information when server will be back. Even when I called customer care they didn’t inform me and provided no help (just wasted my time and money).
    At 9 PM, I had to drive the fuel station worker 25 kilometers back to my home and handed over money to him and gave him auto fare back to fuel station from my home. After this worst experience I want to move my salary account to some other bank which provides better services.

    Not informing customers about downtime is offence. Even it becomes crime if customer care are not helping and letting us know about issues and blocking our money and leaving us alone to face such embarrassing situation.

    I have an NRO & NRE account with ICICI Bank. My accounts were with Rajouri Garden, New Delhi Branch for past 15+ years. Last September 2011 some company who is illegally trying to take over my property in Delhi deposited Rs. 5400 in my account without my knowledge or permission. I got my Bank account statement in November and I immediately contacted the Rajouri Branch Manager and he refused to reverse the money. The company (fraudster) who deposited the money is ICICI Bank Rajouri garden’s regular client. I very strongly suspect that the bank employees gave out our account details to this fraudster. In December 2011 I visited the Rajouri Garden Branch personally and asked them to reverse the deposit. The Assistant Manager was very uncooperative with me.
    The following week I was at Preet Vihar branch of ICICI Bank and the Manger there told me that he will help me with this issue so I moved my account to Preet Vihar Brach. It is more than three months and no progress on this issue. So I wrote to NRI Services of ICICI Bank and the same response that they cannot reverse the money.
    I requested for web access to my accounts in December 2011 at Preet Vihar branch and I am still waiting for the paperwork to arrive. I wrote to NRI Services about the Web Access and they chose to ignore my request.
    I am not used to this kind of lousy services.
    I want to pursue this matter with senior officer at ICICI bank and alsowrite to RBI OMBUDSMAN.
    I request you to provide me with this info urgently.

    Angry ATM Status in RNAIPL, Oragadam, Chennai

    The ICICI ATM in RNAIPL, Oragadam, Chennai is in poor condition that it never works. I request you to better remove that ATM because its frustrating 24*7. We are forced to take money in nearby HDFC ATM & your stupid service SMS comes stating "Don't use other bank's ATM because its not safe & to know the nearest ATM contact us"

    Know the situation is these collection department people started calling my office people if i am not available..
    my job is on stake...i am ready to pay in installments...

    Default Harassment by the OD recovery team of ICICI bank

    I received a letter from ICICI bank dated 13October 2011 regarding recall of car overdraft facility via account no.007105003348. The letter states that the amount Rs.57181/- (Rupees Fiftyseven thousand one hundred and eightyone) is due on the account and that I have been defaulting on the payment. I would like to bring to your notice the facts regarding this account starting from 2006.
    This issue had been cleared with ICICI bank in the year 2008. The following is the sequence of events which happened & the communication between the bank & I regarding the same.

    I had dropped a cheque of Rs60000/- on 15/9/06 which was not credited to my account. After several enquiries and complaints, I was told that the cheque was withheld at the central processing unit. I had written complaints to the bank regarding this. Finally the same cheque was cleared on 8/1/07.

    The car OD department then started making calls saying that I need to make the payment. On repeated requests, I received a statement of the account which stated only interest and late payment charges during the period. I informed the deptt through email, that I am ready to pay the principal amount, but not interest or late payment charges for the period when the bank had kept my cheque.

    There was no action from ICICI regarding for quite some time after which I made a second level complaint regarding the same.

    Following email & several complaints (written & phone), Mr. Manish Kamwani, Customer Service Manager, ICICI bank responded and replied. His reply was as follows.

    “With reference to your email, we have made note of your request for Reversal of Interest and Late Payment charges occurred between September 15, 2006 to January 08, 2007 and your request will be processed within 2 days.
    Your Service Reference number is SR58424058.”

    After this we had been intimated over phone that we do not need to pay anything and the matter had been settled by the bank.

    Three years have passed since the settlement of the matter & now the bank has started ‘harassing’ us again with the letters. And there was no action other than asking for a copy of the letter by the bank when the customer care was informed regarding the same. Now we have started having visits from the recovery team which is escalated harassment.

    Please resolve the matter as soon as possible..
