    ICICI Bank......Bank!!!........a bunch of crooks.
    Had this horrible experience with RD account... they debited more installments than they were supposed to.
    Didnt refund the extra installment even after compain lodged after one hour spend over phone banking...one hour..that pathetic.
    Didnt not credit the amount on maturity.....was made to beg for another one hour over phone banking.
    And all this happened.......because of technical error?
    We are just being taken for a ride....this is banking at its worst.

    THIS ID THE THIRD TIME I AM WRITING IN CONSUMER COURT TO LOOK INTO MY ISSUE
    MODERATOR REPLY ON THIS I AM EAGERLY WAITING FOR A RESPONSE


    i went to croma chennai showroom to buy a laptop .i made two transactions one from hdfc(rs19000) and one from icici bank (rs 19000).
    i swiped both my cards.but the problem is when i swiped the hdfc card they got a slip and it was fine but when i swiped my icici card the slip did not come so i went to the near by atm but the cash was debited from my account.the croma manager is saying that they did not get the money as they did not recieve the slip.

    so they gave in wriiten stating that the transaction was not not successfull.i lauched a complaint against that transaction and they are saying it will take 10 working days to process. THE COMPLAINT NO ISSUED BY ICICI IS--- 148023940 now i worried since the amount is huge .what is it i can do after this ??????? and if the amount going to credit back to my account or to the merchants account(croma).and will i get any confirmation for that transaction???


    I SUBMIT THE PAPER TO THE NEAREST BRANCH ON WHICH THEY HAVE MENTIONED THAT THE AMOUNT WAS NOT CREDITED TO THEIR ACCOUNT FROM MY ACCOUNT NO ALONG WITH A LETTER FROM ME STATING THAT I WANT TO REVERT BACK THE AMOUNT
    I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE GETTING A REQUEST NO FOR IT BUT I DID NOT GET TILL NOW..

    my acc no is 008901508007 branch is jamshedpur and its on the name of M.PRASAD its a joint account.

    Post Pathetic Service of ICICI Bank

    I am having relationship with ICICI bank since past 5-6 years , having few savings account, credit cards and also had opted for Auto loan in the year 2007.
    I have never made any late payments to any bank nor had ever any of my cheque bounced, but since last two months .
    And now , thanks to ICICI bank for letting this happen...this month my Auto Loan cheque got bounced , and that to reason behind is insufficiat fund.

    I had been struggling with the bank for the netbanking facility (since last two months, the records available with the bank may be checked , that how many times I have visited the branch & had called up the customer care).If required I can produce the call details to you , to prove how many time did I call the branch.
    The charges for the same is getting deducted from my saving account continiously...every time Rs 55..
    Is it my problem that the customer care & technical is incapable of resolving the issue ... ??
    I am paying per call charges to ICICI bank.... visiting the branch , again doesnt happen free of cost..... paying Rs 55 for request ...
    And now also the cheque bouncing charges of Rs221 ( as per the executive )

    Last month I have visit twice & called end no. of times .... this month also I have been to the Dwarka,Sec-5 branch on 5th august to deposit but the servers were down so the executive diverted me to Sec-6 market , where there is only ATM facility but the executive is not even aware of the same .
    On 6th , I again visited the Udyog Vihar Branch , where I made the payment.

    Since I have not yet recieved the Auto loan welcome kit & every month the account gets debited on 7th, and the same was confirmed by the bank people last month so as per my records the due date was 7th of every month .
    And this month also I made the payment before 7th. Due to insufficiat funds ( as the net banking was not working so I was unable to deposit ) the cheque bounced .

    On 10th Aug, I recieved a call from one of the executive who told me that since its not my fault so I wont be penalised and the EMI was deducted from my account on 11th Aug.

    Today again I recieved a call from one of the executives who shouts on top of his voice,his words were " Jo karna hai wo kar lo , consumer court bhi kuch nahi kar sakta. 221 ka bouncing charge bhi lagega aur chahe jisko escalate karna hai kar do"...is it the way a customer is treated in ICICI bank..was it my mistake ..

    Every month , I have to take leave from my office to may the payment . And this month I had to take 1 full day & 1 half day off just to make the payment on time .
    I never wanted to be in the records of CHEQUE BOUNCERS...

    Sir my name Amit Bhardwaj i opened a Salay A/c 000701598816 with ICICI Bank in Aug or Sept 2007 . A/c opened by my company where i was working AOK In-House and i laft that company in Nov 2007 after that i lost my debit card in march 2008 i inform to customer care about the same and requested to executive to close my A/c and he inform me your a/c will close in next 5 working days but after two years i check my a/c so Bank officer told me a/c is still active and i requested again for close this a/c so they told me u have to pay 1650 Rs as minimum balance charge and Bank charging quarterly charge on my a/c so pls give me best solution of my problem when it was my salary a/c how can they convert in saving a/c without any intimate me on any type of communication .

    Please Help me out in this i just want to close this A/c .

    I had taken a loan for Rs.475000 from ICICI Bank for 10 years. I had never been a defaulter while repaying the loan.
    My first complaint is when i took loan the interest rate was 9.25% . Now i am paying an interest rate of 14.50 %. They did this escalation of interest unilaterally.
    My second complaint is non availability insurance against house damage. In the night of 21st April, 2010, my house which is in the name of ICICI got completely burnt in a devastating fire.I lost all my belongings also. now only the brick structure is remaining. when I approached the Bank for claim against the damage of house, I was told that since 2004 they have made it mandatory to insure the property against calamities. when I asked about the houses bought before 2004, they had no answer. I have been running from pillar to post to get a solution. I strongly feel it is the responsibility of bank to insure their property. When i approached their head quarters I was told that I should have insured the property. The fact of the matter is I was never told by the bank that the onus of insuring the property lies with buyer. Otherwise I get 'n' number of unwanted and unsolicited calls from the said bank for their different products. I was always under the impression that the property might have been insured by the bank. At present I am virtually on street . I need to know shall i approach the consumer court as the bank is not doing anything.

    (They threatened my parents saying “YOUR ONE SON IS DEAD, AND THE YOUNGER ONE WILL GO TO JAIL. MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HUMANITY IN ICICI’S CORPORATE ETHOS.)

    This is to bring to your attention the atrocious and inhuman behaviour of ICICI Bank that has caused tremendous financial hazards, mental agony and harassment for me and my old parents.

    I have a salary account with the ICICI Bank since August 2010 (2months). On 8th October, while checking my account, I saw an unaccounted amount of Rs.36000 as negative balance, while my available balance is Rs.9271, but that amount too was freezed. I couldn’t draw any money. More importantly there was NO INTIMATION or details available. On calling up the bank, I was told that this amount is an adjustment for a disputed credit card due and that my account was in lien of about 45000. This was my “CORPORATE SALARY ACCOUNT” with TIS (Tata Interactive Systems) and I have taken this up with my employer, TATA. Then, just one week later on 14th October, I got a sms from ICICIC Phone-banking saying there was a debit to my account of Rs9271 and that my account balance was zero. This is daylight robbery. No reasons, no intimation. It seems like they are above the laws of the land.

    I also had an ICICI Bank Credit Card. I have not used this card since 2007. In fact I have destroyed the card. In 2008 I had asked the bank for a Final Settlement but the bank did not agree with the amount. Then all was quiet for sometime. All this while, I was working in Jaipur.

    A few months ago my elder brother died suddenly at the age of 39, leaving our family shattered, specially my mom and dad (aged 75 and 70 respectively). He was the only earning member in Kolkata. I had to leave my job in Jaipur and come back to Kolkata as my parents were all alone and fully dependent. So, financially we were going through a torrid time.

    During this time the bank called me up once again and after mutual discussions a one time settlement of Rs15000 in cash was agreed upon. I had requested them that I would definitely pay 15000 in cash at one go, but after some time, as I don't have any funds available with me presently and will have to arrange for the same, but they were not ready to listen. Even after hearing about my brother’s death, they were least bothered.

    They still went on calling me every day, until I stopped taking their calls. Then they started phoning my dad, mom, wife, and even my father-in-law. Their tone was nothing less than threatening. They also had the temerity to talk abusively to my elderly parents, and threatened my parents saying “YOUR ONE SON IS DEAD, AND THE YOUNGER ONE WILL GO TO JAIL!” After this my mom and dad have gone further into a mental trauma. I would like to ask ICICI “Those who work for your bank, don’t they also have children? Don’t they know the state of parents who have just lost their son at the age of 39”? Or, maybe not, MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HUMANITY IN ICICI’S CORPORATE ETHOS.

    I am ready to pay 15000 in cash even now, however difficult it maybe just to stop my parents from getting harassed.

    I would like the bank to take this matter on high priority and get me a resolution ASAP, as my family is falling deeper into economic crisis every day, thanks to ICICI. Call me at 9831850907.

    I also ask for the support of all my fellow consumers and consumer groups in this matter. I sincerely hope that no other parent has to ever go through this traumatic experience.

    atm machine gave am a 1000/-Rs. tore note .i shown to security gaurd mr.avdesh me provide me a phone no of mr.rakesh .i told him the problem .he simply reply go to police station no body help me

    Default Net Banking threw up the message '‘Attempted transaction if any will be reversed’

    This is regarding a Net Banking Payment which got aborted
    Date initiated: 18/10/2010
    Amount: 2671


    The transaction got aborted and I got the message
    ‘Transaction status could not be retrieved. Attempted transaction if any will be reversed’

    On 19th Oct 2010 I sent a mail through ’my Mail Box feature ‘ addressed to the accounts manager stating that my account has been debited and the transaction has been aborted and requested for a reversal as my auto insurance was due to expire by the 23rd of Oct 2010.

    No response from the bank

    I called the Customer Care on 20/10/2010
    I Spoke to the executive named Vani.
    She confirmed that the amount will be refunded in 3 Working Days and to call back by the 21/10/10 to file a complaint if not refunded.

    After her confirmation I reapplied for a insurance using my HDFC net banking ad got the insurance.

    Post 3 working days still No Refund.

    On 25-10-10(11:20 am) I spoke to an executive (abhishek ). He said

    Normally the System Auto reverses the Payment by 3 Working Days. Since the Turn Around time has been Expired and there is no Reversal the complain has been registered to be handled by the Net Baking Team to Manually Intervene ad credit the account.

    The Transaction Has been verified by the Executive and he confirmed that the payment has not been made

    Today (27/11/2010) Vani Tells me the transaction has been honoured on the (19/10/2010)
    This has resulted in a double payment
    Please guide me in getting my amount reversed

    I am posting the entire mail communication happened with customer care.

    Apart from this i have called n number of times to customer care but no use.

    Now i asked them to find the other details like fathers name or permanent address or there will be difference in the documentation.
    I got response from there customer care executive that. " They not collected any identity proof with credit card application."
    Now what i have to do? Please help me.

    The said account has been liened due to nonpayment of credit card amount.
    When I called the customer care they are telling that I have due amount of approx 65,000/ Rs. Outstanding of the credit card no. 7005. Which is not belongs to me.
    I have only one credit card which no. is XXXXXXXXX3009. As I spoken to the customer care several times. They are climbing that the said both cards has been linked to same account because my Name My Date of Birth And My mother Maiden name Is matching with the credit card no ending with 7005.
    The same thing is happened even last year also. I have raised the complaint regarding this last year. After several months of follow up and investigation from there end. They have resolved the issue stating that both the cards are of different account and different person.
    I am repeatedly calling the customer care and escalating the issue to find the applications for both the cards and check the documents. Or else check the father?s name.
    I am ready to co-operate for investigation. I am requesting to you guys to find the correct defaulter and punish him instead of making some body responsible for having the same details. This shows your capability?
    This is being my salary account. I am facing completely financial problems. Even I don?t have money to get my basic needs for the day.
    Please I am requesting you guys to resolve the issue immidiatly.

    inspite of this the complaint is not resolved and i not got any update on this. after all this of 7 to 8 months.
    Now recently my credit card is detaned.
    The most serious part is they blocked my salary bank account stating the the account is liened for outstading balnce of credit card of which i dont have.
    Again i called customercare and given the complaint.

    i keep on calling customercare for the same. they are telling the the case is in investigation it will be resolved.
    Since then i am waiting for your resolution that too of for your mistake. since then my life has bacome more miserable. i am unable to concentrate on my job. I am not able to find the time to call your customercare everyday for followup.
    wghenever i am calling customercare they are helpless. tell me what i have to do.
    If you are still doing investigation on this case. you do it. but why you made my salary account blocked for your mistake or some other's mistake. Why should i suffer for your wrong. i want the resolution immidiate.
    please de-link my account with some others account immidiatly.
    and please please remove the lien of salary bank account. without that i cant survive.

    I am repeatedly calling the customer care and escalating the issue to find the applications for both the cards and check the documents. Or else check the father?s name.
    I am ready to co-operate for investigation. I am requesting to you guys to find the correct defaulter and punish him instead of making some body responsible for having the same details. This shows your capability?
    This is being my salary account. I am facing completely financial problems. Even I don?t have money to get my basic needs for the day.
    Please I am requesting you guys to resolve the issue immidiatly.

    i kashifraza send money on my sister account 004601547589 in icici bank,on new friends colony,new delhi on 6th nov-but tody on 11th nov i got massege from bank my money returned witout any reason.please comply it.

    Icici thalassery branch demat a/c open is very very very worst.i have a/c open 11.10.2010.but 18.11.2010 till not open.branch manager and any other person not response and don't pick up my phone.initial they said demat a/c opening 7 days after the sb a/c opening.sb a/c open date is 02.11.10.but demat a/c sofar not opening.
