    Whenever ICICI server is down why don't they disable the login page itself during netbanking. Just put up a message that server is down. Atleast we can try some other means of making payment instead of wasting time pondering why the password is invalid and having thrown out after 3 attempts. This is very very irritating & kills peace of mind.

    Default ICICI Bank Fraud Victim

    I have a bank account with ICICI, Nehru Place, New Delhi. All the balance from my account (Rs. 56,500) has been debited in lieu of credit card payments for someone else's credit card, with a similar name, and my balance rendered nil.This is when I have never applied for, received, or used a credit card with ICICI Bank till date. On top of this, i was sent a bill demanding more money, for clearing more credit card bills after extracting all the money from my account. Their representative Mr. Manoj Rawat assured me that he would look into the matter, but after a few days started blatantly refused to take any action. The bank staff too, has been extremely unhelpful.

    Default Card not settled though made the payment towards it.

    Recently I have made a payment of 12000/- towards card settlement on the assurance that, within 10 days I will get the settlement letter. But till date I have not received the letter. Also the person who called is not responding to my call at all.
    Till now, without using the card I’ve made payment of Rs. 23000/- towards the card.
    The other banks with whom I've loans reported my name to CIBIL and also pressurising me to settle the loan. I'm totally helpless now. The bank is humiliating me at its heights. Please save me and guide me to fight against this. How bank has authority to block my savings accounts and withdraw my money. This is cruality. On the top of it they are humiliating by calling repeatedly for money, though I've given the settlement request letter along with payment.

    I am sorry to inform you that your bank services are not up to mark and not convenient for it’s customers. I bear a saving account no. 019001002271 at civil line branch moradabad. I had issued a cheque no 734083 dated 08.03.10 duly signed by me in favor of LIC of India. You have dishonored my cheque on account of alteration in date which is not very apparent.
    May i ask you when cheque was account payee, signed properly by account holder, cash was to be withdrawn from my account to my LIC account only what was the need to dishonored it? Even nobody phoned me before that I, already given my mobile no. Because of this my LIC receipt got cancelled and I have to pay penalty of Rs 167 and laps 20,000 in saving amount in financial year 2008-2009 i.e. of 4000/ and after that when I went to the branch, branch manager misbehave with me and during conversation I left my cheque book and ATM card in the branch now they told me that your account finally closed. I am sending this complain to your kind notice so that you may take necessary action. One copy of this with photocopy of cheque also sent to your head office.

    Hi, ICICI banks is deducted money from my account saying "MulticityUsageChg" Rs 3 per 1000 rupees.. so be conscious about it.

    Default Wrong transfer of fund using net banking-icici bank

    Hi

    I made online transaction to transfer Rs 12,000 to friend's A/C but I mistakenly transferred to wrong A/C on date 1/06/2010 with Payment ID: 0158347384 & Transaction id BIL/000158347384/Against Laptop Payme/NS .
    ICICI online banking system is such it only asks for A/C number & registers payee. There is no cross verification of A/C holder so people generally commit such mistakes. This is deficiency in their system. You can find so many such complaints against ICICI bank. Now bank is not able to trace the A/C holder. I had logged complaint to bank but nothing is done.
    Immediately after I came to know about the mistake I contacted the Customer care toll free number and they advised me to contact the Branch Manager who will contact the Ac holder to whom the money was transferred.
    I approached the Branch Manager Mr. Pankaj ( Liberty Garden, Malad Branch - Mumbai ), who asked her employee Nisha to contact the Customer but the person to whom the money was transferred has not been using the account from past one year and was not available on his contact number with the Bank I requested the Bank manager to make sure that the third person should not withdraw the money from his account and reverse the transaction immediately, but I was shocked to hear from the bank that they cannot do this and there is no way that we can stop the opposite person to withdraw the money as it is in his account.
    The Bank staff then asked me to contact Mumbai police and register a case with them. I went to Malad Police station, Bangur Police station but the Cops refused to register a case giving me the reason that as there is no fraud or theft committed in my account they cannot register case for me under any section of Indian law. They also informed me that as it is my account, my bank and my money then bank should act on my written complaint or intimation to them and reverse the transaction.
    I disappointedly went back the Bank and informed them about the police episode and now I had a different operational manager Mr. Manoj who agreed that cops will not help me and in such case there is no way that bank can help me too. He behaved and displayed a attitude of telling me that I have done a crime or murdered someone and my 12,000 in no way is retrievable. He also informed me that I am not the first person to do such mistake and that is the reason he is telling me to forget my money.
    After a short argument with him he informed me that he will send a bank representative to the third party account holders address and try to get in touch with him. The Bank guy after visiting his place came to know that the person does not stays there and there is no trace of the account holder.
    It is now one week and bank has not taken any step to stop the opposite person to misuse my money or help me in retrieving my money.

    Being a common man I am now not only in a state of shock but left all alone with no one in the entire system of Indian law trying to help me. The Cops have a valid reason not to register a case for me. The Bank seems to be giving me all kinds of reasons not to help me in any possible way.

    Dear Sir,

    I am having above-mentioned Salary Account with your bank. Please note that Rs 3000.00 have been deducted from my account on the pretext that I have not maintained minimaun balance of Rs 10000. please note that these guidelines were not known to me and neither before deducting the aforesaid amount it was not communicated to me.please let me know if any communication in this regard was sent across to me and in absence of non communication /intimation to the customer the deduction done is not justified and on account of long term relationship with your customer you should credit the amount to my account.

    You are requested to look into the issue sympathatically and do the needful. kindly do let me know once done.

    I am one of the victims of ICICI Bank's car loan who was cheated by the bank in 2002 when I purchased a sparingly used Tata Indica DLX by paying a down payment of Rs. 1.25 lakhs and another Rs. 18,000 was paid towards insurance of the vehicle. The ICICI Bank disbursed the loan and the dealer delivered the car to me. I was told that I will receive my vehicle insurance policy within 7 days but ICICI Bank and the auto dealer failed to handover the policy as per their promise.

    After 21 days, I met with a massive accident due to the fault of another driver and the vehicle was badly damaged. After obtaining a police report when I approached the insurance company for claim as per the advise of the dealer the insurance company officials informed that the policy of the earlier owner us not being transferred to my name and thus I will not receive any claim.

    I took the matter with highest authority of ICICI Bank in Mumbai and after several officials visiting my residence in Kolkata to inspect the vehicle and taking many photographs, ICICI bank informed that it is the fault of the dealer and I must confront the dealer for the claim. While I did so the dealer refused to take any responsibilities and informed that the insurance amount of Rs. 18,000.00 was taken by ICICI Bank and they are suppose to be responsible for it.

    I received ICICI Bank's letters for the payment of EMI which I refused as after the accident the car was in very bad condition and after paying Rs. 1.25 lakhs and Rs. 18,000.00 = Rs. 1.43 lakhs, I could enjoy the car only for 21 days. The matter was in the same state for years and neither ICICI Bank nor the dealer took any responsibilities and the car started turning into a scrap.

    Since I was living and working out of Kolkata I was not using the car which was parked for 3 years and then turned into a scrap. ICICI Bank kept on sending EMI reminders and people to collect it with force and abuse. Later ICICI Bank moved to court with this case while I too engaged my lawyer to fight against it !

    It is already 9 years passed, neither ICICI Bank nor court took any action against me or the ICICI Bank and the vehicle is totally turned into powder and the lawyers of ICICI Bank and mine enjoyed regular earnings !

    In the process ICICI Bank had put my name into the defaulters list and I lost my Rs. 1.43 lakhs, did not enjoy the car and earned a bad reputation for being a defaulter ! What a legal system and bravo ICICI Bank great professionalism !

    Today is the second day when ICICI's internet banking is not working properly. And this is after bringing down the E-Channel down for almost the entire day on Sunday for performing maintenance. This is completely unacceptable. There is absolutely no communication to customers through e-mail / sms about the issue & when this issue will get resolved. I use the internet banking channel for performing almost all my transactions, as going to a branch for carrying out these tasks take lot of time & energy. Please let the customers know about what the issue is & when do you expect to resolve the same. After this experience I am seriously considering moving my account balances to some other private bank providing me with a much better internet banking experience.

    It is not the internet banking channel being down which is bothering me more, it is the treatment being meted out to online banking customers which is bothering me. As in not informing the customers about the issue.

    I hope we get a quick resolution on this issue.

    Angry Bad Customer Services and Bad Experience with ICICI car Loan department

    Hi,

    I am deeply unsatisfied with the kind of response that was given to me regarding my car loan account.
    I have a car installment of around 12000 coming out on 5th of July 2010. Due to some confusion i ended up withdrawing from the wrong account and for the first time in my life the installment bounced on 5th July 2010. I checked with ICICI Car loan department and i was told that they will reclaim the installment on 10.07.10 and not on any other date. I also received a text message from ICICI Bank saying that the installment has bounced and will be reclaimed on 10th of July 2010. Now the installment has been taken out on 9th of July 2010. 1 day before they promised without my authorization or without even informing me. I Spoke to Amit Mishra in the Mumbai Car Loan branch. He told me nothing can be done. Car Loan department can take out money within 7 days from the date installment has bounced. I briefed him about everything and he told me that they cannot do anything now and was unaware of system knowledge. I asked for his manager and my call was transfered to Prachi Mohite around 4:45 PM on 09.07.10. She told me the same thing that installment can be taken out within 7 days from the date installment has bounced. I told her about the message and the information that was given to me by previous floor manger (Whose name i don't remember as i trusted ICICI until now) about installment being reclaimed on 10th of July 2010. She agreed with me that yes we did sent you a message saying it will be claimed on 10.07.10 and can only look into it and cannot do anything else to assist. I am very much aware of how ICICI bank works and a direct debit payment can be reversed if the manger wants to. but i was not helped instead they lied that they don't have any option to refund and it cannot be done. I used to think that ICICI provides best customer support in INDIA. But i was not at all satisfied.

    Also after reading the complains mentioned below by Sujit Shrivastava. I don't think any justice will be done in my case as well.

    I would be paying my full remaining installment account and close my account or never ever do business with ICICI again. I will prefer HDFC or Government Banks.
