I opened an account with ICICI bank in October 2010. They did not contact me for one month and after I made repeated calls to them, they processed my request.
After more than a month, the account was opened but they did not send the savings account kit (ATM card, cheque book, internet banking details). Again I had to make multiple calls to them.
Then they told me that they sent the kit to my home address and it was returned. I had clearly mentioned that my preferred communication address is my office address. I marked this clearly in my application form still they gave an excuse that it was sent to home address. And if someone actually came to deliver then why didn't the person call me to say that I have come and no one available to pick it up??
Now when I call customer care, they tell me that they will not send the savings kit and I should visit a bank branch for further details and . Also, they have only one address on file (god knows what happened to the other address they asked me to fill in the application form).
More than 3 months, just for opening an account! I do not want to use their account or services but they took Rs. 965 from me for account opening and now they are not returning my money back.
