    Default Icici bank inconsistent behaviour

    HI,
    I had appiled for ICICI 3 in 1 account on 20th december and now its 10th January.
    ALMOST A MONTH.
    Till now the account has not been opened.
    I was being told by ICICI BANK representative that the account will get opened in 3 to 4 days or at the max 1 week.
    Also there are no proper updates given by ICICI bank representatives.
    In all, from which ever way I tried to get status whether from ICICI bank representative, ICICI DIRECT representative , customer care it remains a puzzle for me that when my account will get opened.

    I am writing this thread in order to know that isnt bank suppose to update the customer on the current status of his/her application correctly? I know it might take time by the bank to process the account. But there has to be time limit defined by the bank and which needs to properly conveyed to customer. In my case i had been told that the account would get opened in 3 to 4 days or at the max 1 week. Now its almost a month. Also there was no consistency in customer care enquiry. Please correct if iam wrong, its banks responsibilty not to misguide customer and properly set the expectation

    Based on my experience and from friends knowledge It seems to me that ICICI interface with customer is not transparent.

    Hope to recieve atleast recieve 1 reply.

    Instead of ICICI BANK Switch to Indusind bank they always give higher FD rates {400 DAYS 9.50 % }
