I received a letter on 30/11/2010, from HSBC, Mumbai, that my account was blocked due to the non-receipt of the following documents:
1) Account opening form required.
2) Proof of identity required (Copy of Passport or PAN)
3) Proof of address required (copy of passport or Driving License)
4) Pan copy or Form 60 required.

Now, as per me i have already submitted these documents at the time of opening the account. But still i sent the self attested copies of the above mentioned document on 02/12/2010.
Even after sending these documents the bank has still not activated my account and when i called the customer care, they told me that this the process of KYC(Know your customer).
I maintain this savings account as i receive payments from my foreign clients before 5th of every month. Even this month the payment was transferred to my account, but i see no trace of the funds in my account. The bank says that they cannot trace the fund. The fund is of amount 1954 USD. I have written to higher bank authorities but they are still making it clear to me why was the account blocked and where are my USD funds.
My account was opened in the Mumbai, Bandra brach last year in the month of October, 2009.

Sir can you please help me, to recover my funds and un block my account. I cannot visit the bank personally as i have now shifted to my permanent, Jamshedpur.
