A lein has been placed on my salary account number 032301525819 as I have not paid the outstanding balance on my credit card which comes to Rs. 51000...my salary account had a balance of Rs,18200.Now the balance is in the negative (-32000 odd). Now, I am not sure if this is legal because the credit card was issued about 2 and a half years ago (May 2008), while this salary account was opened in Oct 2009.As such I had never authorised them to execute this lein.How do i resolve this? Any help would be appreciated.
