I made a tranaction of 15,000 INR from my ICICI Credit card from
Unique infoways Pvt. Ltd (308 Osian building, Nehru Place, New
Delhi) on 5th Jan 2008. The Merchant duped me at the behest of the
Swaping machine of ICICI credit card, making me believe that it
would get converted into EMI for 6 months. He charged me more that
6% as the processing fees, which according to Sales Incharge, Mr
Sandeep Dey would be charged by the ICICI Bank and he would get the
remaining amount.

When my statement got generated, there was no conversion of
amount into the EMI. When informed to the vendor and asked him to
resolve the matter and refund the interest amount of Rs 1000, he
refused at the first instance and the ICICI agent refused to
acknowledge the matter. ICICI customer care has confimed that there
are no pre arrangements where a Merchant can take processing fees on
the Bank's behalf.

The slip generated after the transaction shows 0% interest free "EMI
sale" but the statement doesn't reflect any EMI conversion or any
processing fees given.

The Merchant is duping the customers at the behest of the ICICI Bank
name taking undue processing fees and even after failed conversion
refusing to give back the said processing fees in question despite
repeated requests.
