Hello,

I have applied for Citibank credit card. But two months after i received an email stating that "We regret to inform you that we are currently unable to approve your application for a Citibank Card, as feedback from Credit Bureau of India Ltd (CIBIL) does not meet our minimum credit criteria. Please note this does not mean negative credit feedback".

But the real thing is that i never owned a credit card neither borrowed money(loan). This is the first application for a credit card. I am a salaried employee and i am paid little over 23,000 per month. And i am also holding a salary account with the same banker citi.

Someone let me know what could be the probability for the rejection of this credit card???
