    Angry Complaint against ICICI Bank for harrassment

    I want to issue a complaint against ICICI Bank for Causing a mental harrassment due to my bank account- 004601537805. there was a sum of 5313 Rs deducted from my account due to the lien with my credit card(withoiut any prior information). now i have cleared all the dues of the credit card and spoken to the customer care number of times. first i was assured of getting it credited in 1 day. but when i called after 2 days i was told that it will be credited in 4 days. i called up on 24th june(today), as its already more than 4 days and still not being credited. i called up thw customer care thrice but everytime i was kept on hold & nobody answered from the concerned department.

    I am facing mental harrassment and want to teach lesson to these irresponsible people.

    Sub: Rejection of accidental insurance claim for my son (1st applicant of ICICI Home Loan) by ICICI Bank and delay in settling the case – Regarding.
    Ref: ICIC I HOME FINANCE APPLICATION NO.: 7772415089, LAN: LBHYD 00000762922

    With the above reference, 1st applicant (my son C. SARATH CHANDRA) and me as 2nd applicant, by pledging the property document, applied home loan in April 2004. In June it got sanctioned and the 1st installment was disbursed. But my son met with an accident and died on June 28, 2004. When we approached the ICICI Bank to refund the 1st installment amount, the Bank officials told that the 1st applicant is covered by a free accident insurance coverage and gave us an insurance claim from (that of National Insurance). We submitted the claim from, supported by all the required documents on August 2004. For a few months there was no feedback. On our follow-up the Bank sent us a letter in Dec. 2005 , stating that ‘the captioned policy is not admissible under the terms and conditions of the policy’. Further advised that no prepayment charges will be levied in case we foreclose the loan. We requested them to give us a copy of the policy and its terms and conditions. But till date they have not given.

    In January 2008 the ICICI Bank filed a case in Lok Adalat stating that we are defaulters. To the judge we explained the case and requested him to advise the bank to give us a copy of the terms and conditions of the insurance policy based on which our claim was rejected. The judge directed the accordingly and gave them 1 month time.

    Mean while, we have file a complain with banking obudsman, Hyderbad against the ICICI Bank in April, 2008. Responding to the ombudsman’s notice the ICICI replied that the case is with Lok Adalat. Based on the ombudsman rejected our application. In fact, by that time the ICICI Bank failed to comply with the Lok Adalat’s directive, and even though we brought this to the notice of Lok Adalat they orally said they can not do any thing. We wrote all this to Ombudsman and pleaded that the ICICI Bank wants to escape. But the Ombudsman did not consider our appeal and rejected the case application.

    In Dec. 2009 we received Lawyer notice from M/S ARCIL, Mumbai stating the case has been sold to them by ICICI Bank and advised us to pay the amount due with in 60 days.

    As a last effort, my brother wanted to invite the attention of the CEO-MD of ICICI Bank to this case by email. Accordingly he emailed in December 2009. After 2 days there was a reply email from Ms. Payal Benarji, Senior Manager, Service Quality and asked us to give all the background of the case and copies correspondence. We immediately complied with their request.

    In her mail in March 2010, the Senior Manager said that they advised M/S ARCIL not to proceed in the case and informed us the case for closer is submitted to the top management.

    Mean while from ICICI Bank Hyderabad an official contacted us by phone (along with a senior offcial on conference mode from their Mumbai office) and tried to bargain whether we are ready for paying the principle. My brother said as the Bank cheated us we feel that we need not pay any thing.

    The same was informed to the Senior Manager, Service Quality by email. She responded by phone and mail and told that no one is permitted to speak like that when the case is awaiting decision of top management.

    As there was no feedback till May 2010 end, I gave a reminder mail to the concerned with a copy to the CEO-MD.

    For that, on June 3, 2010 another Senior Manager, Service quality Ms. Sandhya Amin replied that the case has already been transferred to M/S ARCIL and advised us to settle with them.

    At this background, I wish to report the case to you. Kindly advise us to get justice.

    Default No linked my demat account for more than stipulated time

    Dear Suman,

    i have submitted all the documents for the de link of my Demat a/c no XXXXXXXX from sb 00340XXXXXXX and link the same with a/c 03530XXXXXX to chandannagore branch which is duly signed and taken by Narayan Saraogi whose cell no 9331737002 on 9th oct 2010 . but still now the my demat is linked with my old a/c.

    Please let me know why this is taking such a long time.

    2. Appropriate Franked POA
    3. Annexture III - for update in bank Mandate in linked Demat account
    4. Annexture IV- debit mandate.

    I am very sorry to tell that from the bank no body can able to guide me properly and they even dnt able to provide me the contact no and email id of there seniors

    Default Mental Harrassment

    Hi Team,

    This is regarding my EMI of Jan-2011 with ICICI Bank. Account No-015201548829

    In the month of Jan-2011 due to my bank account issue, Bank was not able to deduct the EMI from my account. So ICICI bank’s recovery department called me to pay the EMI, in that call one lady was there “Meenakshi Joshi” from Mumbai she used wrong sentences, wrong language. I asked her “Mam thik se baat kijiye hum customer hai” she told me that “Mein thik se baat kar rahi hoo tu thik se baat kar” “Mein recovery department se baat kar rahi hoo”.

    I asked her that I haven’t received any bank statement yet. She told me loudly “To ye aapki galati hai” she was speaking so loudly. Also note that you can check my all EMI everything is cleared. Due to that call that day first time I felt pain in my chest. Same day I went to the clinic doctor has suggested me for ECG. If this type of treatment we are getting from ICICI Bank. Then this is not good and if one of the heart patient will receive this type call which I have receive. He would have loss his life.
    Now I have decided to send this copy to below mentioned addresses. If I will not get the proper response from ICICI Bank.

    Also I have other option with me and that is Media.

    Default ICICI Bank recovery calls from 011-42050505

    Some female is calling us by taking name of person who doesn't exist on this number coz we bought number approx 2yrs back.
    but ICICI recovery people are not listening to us moreover female was so aggressive over phone and she started abusing.... i dont think so that court has given authority to abuse any unknown customer over phone......................

    i want to bring in everyone's knid notice that ICICI bank's recovery cell is shit and abuse... and as per law no bank has right to abuse

    my client mr k n pandey transferred 850000 rs by rtgs on 18/04 2012 1pm.till today when i got not amount in my account then i came to know that icici has returned amount and today showed reason that my ac 031801515171 is not in existence i am very much harassed

    Default Threatening calls from ICIC bank

    I am getting 15-20 calls from ICICI bank everyday regarding my small payment of my credit card.
    Someone with the name Raj (09582309114 ) from ICICI bank, Rohini , Delhi is calling randomly from my phone list and telling them that I had applied for Credit card and l I have given their name for verification. its a total lie,
    She had called many people from my phone list (which i dont know how she got), and telling them lies.
    I just have to pay small amount of money for my credit card, AND I AM READY TO DO THAT, but Raj from bank is harrassing me and my family and doing illegal things. Please help us, we are very much tensed.
    I AM READY TO PAY BUT DOING ILLEGAL THINGS AND CALLING EVERYDAY 15-20 TIMES .PREVIOUSLY I USE TO LOVE ICICI BANK BUT NOW I DOUBT IT. MY FAMILY IS VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED .
