Sir , I am holding savings account, credit card and home loan with ICICI bank.
I have ESC declared for home loan EMI on icici bank account. Today i have received an SMS from ICICI home loan that ECS check got bounced for the reason insufficient funds. I have received bank statement on 7th March which says there is 22,000+ in my account. I called up customer care regarding this. There are saying that there is due on my Credit card that is the reason the blocked Rs.9000+ amount. Actually there was a dispute transaction of Rs.4000+ on my credit card almost 7months back. I have blocked the card and sent a dispute letter by fax twice but, there was no response from them i called up many times. they said they did not receive the letter then 2 months back i have sent the dispute letter by courier. They did not send any investigation report or any kind of result of the investigation. Today they are saying that the merchant to wards whom the transaction happened (TATA AIG) is not responding and the amount with fines taxes become Rs.9000+ i.e way they blocked the amount. I am not getting positive response from them. Anyway the home loan department is already charged with late payment and ECS bounce charges, the biggest loss was i am maintaining the home loan account without due or bounces from almost 1.5years so that i can switch the home to another bank as icici is still charging me with 13% interest. not sure what to do. I am helpless. Please help me.
