My name is manoj kumar Goel and my account number was 001201559295. I opened my savings account with ICICI Bank in 2006 at Jaipur then my minimum Quarterly available balance (QAB) was Rs.5000/-. Then suddenly ICICI Bank increased minimum QAB from Rs.5000/- to Rs.10000/- and never informed me about the increase in minimum QAB which i came to know when i called up customer care.
Without informing me anything on this increase in minimum QAB, they are deducting money for QAB Charges in every quarter from July - 2008.
When I called ICICI Bank Customer Care, they were reluctant to take my complaint that ICICI Bank never informed me about this change in minimum QAB and also did not take my request of giving me back the amount deducted for QAB charges in every quarter since July -2008. I gave my phone number, address to bank when i opened the account still then the bank did not inform me about the increase in QAB even through sms or call or letter. I went and talked to bank manager and told him that I would maintain my account after my money got refunded but he refused. So I was forced to close my account.
I think ICICI Bank is doing fraud with their customers and unnecessarily harassing the customers on the fault for which ICICI Bank is only responsible.
I want to get all the money deducted from my ICICI bank account because of this QAB Charges as ICICI Bank never told me or informed me in any letter about this increase in minimum QAB.
I am ready to reopen my account if my money get refunded. I think ICICI is just diluting its brand by lossing its valued customer of future.If required, I am ready to take this matter to Consumer Court.

I got a Zero Balance Account with ICICI and as other complaints my account also I have seen a deduction of 827Rs. twice in the last 2 Quarter. I have been traveling and when I logged into my online account I was surprised to see the same.
The Customer Care people have no resolution to this.. What are the options I have .. This is ridiculous after being a customer with ICICI with such a long time this is what we get. I have a join account with my wife after marriage with ICICI that i was not maintaining much balance in the account. I have credit card accounts attached to the account which I have been making payments regularly.
This is nothing but theft of our hard earned money.. has anyone got a resolution on this. Is the bank taking any action or we need to complaint to RBI for this

My name is Abhishek I am writing this today not just to share my experience but also expose fraudulent practices being carried out by the Bank.
I have a joint savings account with my father(Mr.Madhusudan Das) in ICICI Bank, Brabourne Road Branch, Kolkata. Account No.627601508243.When I opened my savings account with ICICI Bank, my minimum QAB was Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only).So I have been maintaining near about Rs6000/- as minimum balance from the very first day. ICICI Bank never informed me about the increase in minimum QAB from Rs.5000/- to Rs.10000/- (which I came to know this by sms send by the ICICI Bank stated that your account balance is 0 please contact the bank. after receiving the sms .My father went to the bank to get the account statement as the bank does not send them by post or e-mail not even single time).
Without informing me anything on this increase in minimum QAB, they are deducting money for QAB Charges in every quarter from Oct-2008.Questions arises here, if I’m not informed about the change in policy of minimum QAB from Rs.5000/- to Rs.10000/- through courier letters or e-mails or even not by sms then what is the fault of us?let me assume that some miscommunication may happen once but is it possible the same miscommunications happens 6-7 times.(before deducting money in every quarter) how does I received sms of 0 balance,not the sms of change in rule of QAB???

icici bank deducted saying "QABChgSEP09,incl Ser Tax 77" while my account balance was 20,147 Rupees I don't understand what is this for?????????????????????????????????????????

My name is Shailesh Kumar. I am writing to you in regards to charges on my account in name of QAB. Last quarter and this quarter (Apr-Jun 2010 & Jul-Sep 2010) I have been charged Rs827 (750+STT) on my bank account for not maintaining my quarterly average balance. My ICICI bank A/c no is 026501001516.
Enquiry to customer care said that the account has Rs10000 as min average balance and now there is no account in ICICI Bank with Rs5000 as min balance. When I opened my account it was Rs5000. I haven't received any communication (in post or e-mail) since then from the bank relating to these changes.
I am outraged to see how these charged have been levied to me without informing me of any changes to my account.
I would demand a reversal of charges on my account.

This is Anantha Reddy.Acc Number: 020101513883.opened at warangal. even though i maintain min acc balance. ICICI bank is deducting amount from account. This is the real fraud. how a international bank can take money like this.

I am Rakshith and my account number is 056001503858 , i was out of country for 3 months , today i logged into my account and was surprised to see that QAB charges of 827Rs has been detected from my account twice.
I had got the account created as a zero balance account , if it is not i would prefer closing it.

I am a user of ICICI bank account rom last fiva years, But suddenly after along time they had deducted a amount of sum total around 2000 from account with the name of QAB charges, that is without any information,,, although my account is zero balance account... So waht should be done with this kind of fraudulent banking practices,, done by a renowned bank like ICICI..
Give a complaint to Banking Ombudsman to solve the issue immediately
