Respected Sir,

I have deposited a foreign cheque amount Rs 100 Lacks to Icici bank. The icici bank have deposited the money to my account. later after 5 day they have suspended my account saying the foreign cheque is returned. I have used 10lacks from that amount. now they are asking me to repay me back the amount. Later i come to know its true the foreign cheque is return unpaid. now in my icici bank my balance still showing 100 lacks but account suspended. i cant withdraw. How can the bank be so unprofessional? Icici bank have collected the cash from foreign bank. the foreign bank by mistake have deposited to icici bank? now icici have now return the cash to foreign bank and same time have marked my account suspended with the reason that i have to pay icici what i have used. I have the proff to say that they received an swift massage on 09.09.2008 from paying bank saying cheque return but they still deposited the cash to my icici bank account on 11.09.2008. This is there mistake. Can i take this matter to court and claim the 100 lacks? I have sms from bank saying my account has been credited 100 lacks, i have bank statement showing balance 100 lacks and the latter from foreign bank dated 9.9.2008 massage to icici saying return cheque and icici igrored the massage and deposited 100 lacks. They have deposited after knowing the cheque is retun. purely there mistake.
