zero balance account
this is kumar parashar, my father has a salary account with zero balance facility in icici bank, recently the debited rs 827 as QAB charges. when i went to icici branch in nirman vihar, they told me that the account was converted into normal savings account which required rs 10000 as minimum balance over each quater. this charge was debited as we could not maintain the required balance.
But we have received no notice regarding this conversion, no post, no messages either!
i am very upset with this kind of irresponsibility towards customer!

This is Abhilasha Gautam, i have a salary account with icici bank since the past 2.5 years with zero balance facility and I am facing the same problem with the bank as Mr. Parashar. They have debited Rs. 827 from my account without any notification and when I spoke to a customer service executive, he told me that since their was no salary transfer in my account, they have converted the account into a savings account. Apart from this, when my father tried to deposit some money in my account, the bank executive told him that i have a debit of Rs. 1700. How is that even possible!! Negative balance!!!! Firstly they charge me Rs. 827 without any notification or intimation and then RS. 1700!! For what???
Please note that the customer service executive did not mention about this debit of Rs. 1700. I am not sure if the bank executive provided misleading information or what. Whatever is the case, it is very disappointing and i am facing a lot of trouble. I am not able to visit the branch and the phone banking officer is not helping. I am extremely disappointed with the bank and I would like this issue to be sorted out at the earliest.

Best way in this problem I find is to file a consumer complaint and demand a heavy compensation for bad service.
You don't need any advocates in this and you can handle your self. Ready formats and proceure can be found by googleing the subject.
Unless and untill over 1000 customer get compensation of 1,00,000/- each from cunsumer flora, ICICI bank will not start behaving properly. Since it is private bank it has no RTI and you can not get correct and true information. Reserve Bank is very slow or do not take action of there own nor they conduct Audit under Payment and Securities Act.
Hence in my openion best way is file Consumer Complaint and demand heavy compensation.
I have seen ICICI has employed Customer Relation team just to show they are very prompt. But you are the judge of the service and you have to take your decisions.
This is just a forum where you get advice and you have to take your decision.

misleaded by citibank credit card team
hi this is Naveed Sayed. i have my salary saving a/c with CITI bank. without my knowledge they had set up outstanding instructions for my credit card for minimum amnt. when i called them they informed me that they will investigate & update me abt the same. this was around 2 years back & i haven't got any update yet.
on 31st aug 12 i called credit card team to close my a/c who stated will do it & advised me to break the cards in to 4 pieces after receiving the confirmation txt from them that i did after receiving the message. they did not helped me with the relevant info that i have the make the complete payment of Rs 33,725.14 & i assume that the same min amount payment will be continued as i have never closed OR canceled my credit card before. my min amt date use to be between 5 to 8th of every month. where in they have not deducted any amt September. on 15/10/2012 the removed 7,783.84 for credit card payment & on 16/10/2012 the withdrawn Rs 4,604.00 & has blocked my a/c also informed me that they will deducting Rs 21,337.30 from my salary on 1st of November. i also have to make the payments for my other loans & utilities & m suffering to to the inconvenience caused by CITIBANk. plz help & guide me the way to fight against them & get the compensation for the inconvenience caused due to them. awaiting for your reply. you can also email it to me on email@example.com
