Dear sir,

I want to file a case against HDFC Bank who has placed a "hold on funds" in my saving bank a/c no. 00921050138384 without any information to me. As per them their is a due of amount Rs. 30997.00/- on my credit card 4346771009107187. Ok very nice.. But you could have ask me where i will pay the dues or not, as the bank has got all my contact details.

My objection to HDFC is that, how dare they can hold my funds without my consent. If i have been asked to pay, i would have paid it that and then. why they kept quite and suddenly wake up after more then two years.

As per them their is a due of amount Rs. 30997.00/- on my credit card 5176521004807055. I told them not to credit cash on call loan but they have changed my name in credit card accnt and credited my accnt. after that i told them to take back the many, I requested them 3 times through the call centre to take it back, and also i have request nos. where i have requested through the phone. I had taken 20000 rs, alread paid 12000 rs, again now they are holded my fund for 35000 rs, it hurted me lot, please sir do something for this. and also i mantained the balance amnt while i am raised the request to take back the money, but they didnt take, I have all the documents to support this case.

I have just relocated to India after 5 yrs. had a credit card 5 years ago. I had an outstanding balance of INR30k Approx when I left India in 2005, my wife kept on paying around INR 2k every month towards the payment as she received the statement. I got a call few days ago and i told them that i will settle the account once i am back from Mumbai while I am on a personal visit. I went to withdraw cash and found that there is no balance in my account. I had around INR 15k and HDFC bank has kept all my funds on freeze without and prior notice. I am left stranded in Mumbai with no cash and no proper response from their call centre in this matter. One customer care executive told that the funds will not be refunded at any cost. Is there any way I can get the funds back. I have paid almost INR96k against the bill of mere INR 40k. Can anyone help me in this or let me know the way to tackle these forced seizure of the funds.

I had an outstanding balance 28000 as per the settelment, i kept on paying around 3500 every month as per the settelment amount and installment agreed. I alredy paid and completed my instalment on November 09. In january 2010 i got a call from HDFC stating that my 512/- is due so i agreed to pay as i though i must have missed the amount. But after that i dind not received any call from them. On 3rd march 2010 they have blocked my HDFC saveing account withount intemation. I would like to know how can they block my saveing account without my authorization. that means their is no security in the bank. I am following up with HDFC Credit Card division from past 2 weeks but no one is their to help me in this case. Kindly sir help me i m a poor man and already paid my dues again i cant pay. Is there any way that i can get the my funds back.

I had an outstanding balance 45909.00 on my credit card number 5566-2042-0007-0582, out of which I have used only around less than 15000. In the month of julu-2008, I converted my outstanding amount in EMI payments. But I failed to pay from oct-2008 since I lost my job in the recession. I got the job back in june-2010. After long time HDFC bank people called me in july-2010 and asked me to pay the outstanding and after the long conversation they accepted for settlement of Rs.18000,00 once the salary credit on july-25,2010. The HDFC person name is Sirisha-(HDFC legal dept, Hyderabad). But suddenly HDFC hold my funds from my salary account on july-25, 2010 without any prior intimation and acceptance which is not at all good. Currently the total amount of Rs.45909.00 is in hold with HDFC credit card dept. Can you please look in to my account and get the settlement done for Rs18,000 which I have accepted already. Please let me know how to file complaint in consumer court.
