Dear Sir/Madam


I have a savings account with Kotak Mahindra Bank for more than a year now

In September '09 I received a call regarding a credit card which was offered because of my consistent bank balance
They did not specify that an amount of Rs.50,000/- would be debited from my account
Which is not very good ethics on the part of the bank

Even after a month, when I did not receive the CC, on 6th October 2009 I called the bank's Call Centre as I wanted to cancel it
They gave me a complaint no. and told me that the amount of Rs.50,000/- would be credited back to my account

Unfortunately it was not done
So on 3rd November 2009, I again called up the call center only to be given the assurance that the card will be cancelled and the amount of Rs.50,000/- swiped back into my account and another complaint no. (1-228015889)

Today is the 28th January 2010 and yet neither have I received the confirmation that the CC has been cancelled nor is the Rs.50,000/- reflecting in my savings account

Kindly ensure quick action as I am being very harassed (its been 5 months now) because I do not know where my hard earned money is
Also the bank employees say it is not in their hands and the email (bank@kotak.com) does not function as I had mailed my complaints through this medium too
