My father has deposited around Rs.50,000 in Union Bank of India in his savings account. Unfortunately my father did not mark nominee name and recently my father passed away.

I went to Union bank of India along with my mother and requested the procedure for claiming the money. The bank officials were totally not co-operative and after repeated requests they asked to fill a form and attach death certificate. I did all that submitted the forms to them. Later they stopped talking about to us and avoiding all the time.

When seriously insisted they are yelling at us saying there are lot more procedures to be followed and not disclosing the procedures to us...

Please suggest how to handle this issue....
