ICICI Bank ATM Money lost

    Default ICICI Bank ATM Money lost

    I, Shailesh Meghji Ayer having account at ICICI Bank (Andheri West Shoppers Stop Branch). I had an emergancy and i tried to withdraw Rs. 5000/- from HDFC Bank ATM on 1st of August 2009. However due to some technical problem the the transaction was failed. I tried doing the same thing twice but both the time it failed and Rs. 10,000/- was debited from my account. However Rs.5000/- was credited instantly but remaining Rs. 5000/- was not credited. I called up ICICI Bank customer care for this complaint. The complaint (SR 114422486) was taken into consideration and was assured that within 12 working days the amount will be credited after the verification from bank. On 14 of August 2009, amount of Rs.500 was credited into my account. So i again called up customer care saying why Rs. 500 is only credited the actual amount was Rs.5000/- what about the remaining Rs. 4500/- . Again new request was registered(SR 116444869) on 21st of August assuring that within 12 working days the issue will be resolved. I kept on calling customer care i was made to follow same process and was told to wait for 8 days, 12 days, 1 day. I even received call from senior officer (Mr.Vikram 040-40145051) stating that we re doing the follow up with bank and will resolve the issue in 8 days. Where again i received new service request number(SR 119525931) on stating that it will resolved but was not done. I kept calling customer care again on 21st September the complaint was registered on HIGH PRIORITY basis but no result.
    Finally, I had had also written mails to bank using my netbanking account to account officor where i got reply stating that "We deeply regret the delay in resolving your query. Considering the time taken for this complaint, we have placed your concern at top priority with the Reference number SR123084542. ". But still i did not got the issue resolved. Now a days i am writing mails by am not receiving any reply.

    Finally i am tired calling and sending mails for the amount of Rs. 4,500/-. I dont know what is suppose to be done.

    Bank is not taking any initiative to resolve the query.

    Please do the needful.
