Minimum Account Balance Charges
I have been a customer of ICICI Bank for the last 4 years
and have been maintaining a good balance in my savings bank account.
number is 000701549862 in Connaught Place, New Delhi branch.
However, I see in my statement that the bank has charged me a minimum account balance charge
of Rs. 393.26


I do not expect this from a bank of as good standing as ICICI.
This is not the first time it's happening with me and I strongly
encourage the bank to strengthen their controls in this aspect,
in addition to refunding the charge back to my account.

Minimum Account Balance Charges
This is the complaint I am submitting on behalf of my father.he has been a customer of ICICI Bank for more than 5 years and have been maintaining a good balance in his savings [COLOR=#009900 !important]bank account. [COLOR=#009900 !important]number is 133601500109. However, I see in my statement that [COLOR=#009900 !important]the bank[/COLOR] has charged me a minimum account balance charge of Rs. 280.90,393.26 (Total Rs. 674.16) I do not expect this from a bank of as good standing as ICICI.I want my money to be refunded since all these money charged were done so without notifying us of the increased MAB charges and this is totally unacceptable.Even now,we got to know about the increased MAB charges through mini- statement .

Dear sir/madam,
I have savings account with ICICI Bank from 6-7 year now.
Recently i saw that the bank has charged MAB Charges in my account without any intimation.
When contacted the bank customer service, they have refunded it once but are not returning the other charges levied for the same.

Could you please help me with this?

Sep 05, 2012 --> MAB Charges Apr 2012 - 280.90 Rs
Sep 12, 2012 --> MAB Charges May 2012 - 280.90 Rs
Sep 14, 2012 --> MAB Charges Jun 2012 - 280.90 Rs (Reversed)
Sep 24, 2012 --> MAB Charges Jul 2012 - 280.90 Rs
Sep 28, 2012 --> ANW Charges May 2012 - 168.54 Rs

In additon to the MAB charges, they have deducted 168.54 Rs as ANW charges. I have requested for base branch change. As i came to know that the minimum balance should be 10000Rs on the account, i have deposited 4700 Rs to ensure that there are no additional MAB Charges in future. Since the base branch change is still in progress, the bank has charged the amount(I was not aware of the base branch request status). A proactive deposit to escape the bank charges has resulted in these charges, which very unfortunate.

Please help me with reversing the charges and enforce the rules on banks to contact or initimate the charges that are being applied on accounts.
This is very unfair on part of banks to charge the customers heavily for their own benefit.

However, I see in my statement that the bank has charged me a minimum account balance charge of Rs. 184.84,35.00,393.26 . I do not expect this from a bank of as good standing as ICICI. This is Gaurav Bhatnagar (S/o of M.N. Bhatnagar). My father holds an ICICI saving b/a : 001201541996. My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited from my father's account without even notifying there policy changes, if any. ICICI bank is simply debiting amount from his account. We get monthly statements but I have never got any information about the policy changes.

My father is senior citizen and I'm surprised that ICICI is playing this game with Sr. citizen's also.

This is Abhijit , holding an ICICI saving account no. 628501529076 Eve Chauraha Meerut(UP). My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited from my account without even notifying there policy changes, if any. ICICI bank has simply debited amount from my account. I get email from the bank regularly but I have never got any information about the policy changes. I think ICICI bank is not even following the guidelines mentioned by RBI. Previously they take the average for a quarter to check the minimum balance but suddenly they changed without any information send to us (customers).

The employees in the office did not filled one form , whereas my i could see my money going in my recurring A/C. and still I could see MABChgs-Jun12+ServTax 14.21 [129.14/-] ( 14/09/2012) then MABChgs-Jun12+ST ( 13/03/2013 ) [ 264.12/-] ... i have called my agent from the he said that will be refunded ,but still i have not received any of such amount. I have been customer to ICICI Bank from years and maintained good balances. I have recently found that from my a/c 031501502536, there has been continuous withdrawal of 393.26 Rs per months from more than 8 months behind MAB, without notifying me. There was no mail communication or notification on the mobile phone via sms or call. For a bank with stature like of ICICI and with good relationship from so many years, wouldn't have expected such transactional charges with out bringing it to customer notice.

Please take relevant action against bank to drive quality in service. Also, expecting ICICI Bank customer service to proactively connect with me on potential waiver and future heads-up as an corrective measure.
