    Default cheating by hdfc bank

Sub: cheating by hdfc bank, false commitments of their staff.
    Dear Sir,
I would like to draw your kind attention towards the banking nature of HDFC bank& their staff.
I opened a current account with them in oct. 2008 (in the name of my firm OPTICAL CENTRE), this account was for taking the EDC(card swipe machine) services of the bank.
The account was opened with an amount of Rs.10,000/-, & I had not taken the debit card service of the bank, because I didn’t required it, they were charging Rs.100/- for it. But chequebook was free with this account, as said by bank representative. Even he has given me in written that bank won’t deduct any charges without my knowledge(bcoz I really had a miserable time with them earlier also, that’s why I took all this in written).
But on receiving my first account statement I was shocked to know that they have deducted Rs.125/- from my account as chequebook charges. When I contacted the branch, they said they will revert it or it will be deposited by the person who opened the account (after confirming him that he had commited it). But neither the charges were reverted nor the machine was installed even after submitting the forms two times(because the form was lost by them with all my documents, address proof , id proof etc)
and here came the quarter end & they deducted Rs.750/- as AVERAGE QUARTER BALANCE charges, I contacted several times times but every time their personal banker Mr.MANU GOEL calmly promised me that all the charges will revert soon, as this is now not a small amount it will take some time. But nothing was done.
At last on 24 aug 2009 when I contacted the bank Mr.manu goel told me that all the charges reverted in your account, I didn’t want to continue with them, so I signed the account closing form but to my surprise I received the cheque of Rs.9117/-only, instead of Rs.10,000/-.
And when I contacted them they were so rude, they even told me that”DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO DO, GO CONSUMER COURT OR WHEREEVER YOU WANT TO GO, NOTHING CAN BE DONE” as your account is closed we have already reverted 2 AQB charges, & nothing more we can do.
Sir, this much amount is not a big thing but I want that the bank and their employee should realize that they cant treat a common man like this.
They kept my money for almost an year, gave no service, return my money after deduction & harassed me so much. I made more than 25 visits to bank for this only, as I am in business it was very difficult for me to go there again & again.
    Waiting for your justice.
    Thanks
    Krishan lal gera,
account was opened at east patel nagar market branch.

Default HDFC bank cheating on usage of Debit/Credit card abroad

I am a classic plus customer at HDFC bank who has maintained a minimum balance of more than 1 lakh in my savings account for the last 2 years in HDFCbank. I recently travelled to singapore on January 30th. I checkd the forex rates at the day and it was 32.95 for every singapore dollar at American Express, which . My own bastard bank charged me 33.95 Rs/singapore dollar on the same day and on top of that charged me 6% on the total amount used. All this for using the debit card to buy a new camera at singpore. Using my bank effectively cost me 3000 Rs for using 825 singapore dollars. I have been calling them since the last week to get a redressal, this despite being a corporate customer using classic plus salary account

on the same day using my credit card I was charged 34.95 Rs /Singapore dollar, my fucking bank is srewing me , suns of bitches. I will never do business with them ever again

Angry HDFC - Heaven to Dupe and F**k the Customer.. thats H.D.F.C.

This being a whiner's forum, I have something to whine about too. HDFC was introduced to me by a friend manager who meticulously explained to me about a nice Gold Debit card with free insurance cover of Rs.2 lakhs and shit like that which everyone might say when they penetrate a market for the first time.

Now heaven only knows if the insurance and the gold card bull is still alive with regular savings accounts like mine, but looking into HDFC's website this feature seems to be a benefit only with the Savings Max scheme.
Does it still apply for us in regular Savings schemes way back from 2007-08?? because if it doesn't then that will be a breach of contract wouldn't it which HDFC prolly doesn't give a f**k anyway.

I was not given prior notice about the AQB being raised to Rs.10000 from Rs.5000 and about these new stupid fees of Rs.62 everytime I transact online even with my AQB maintained. The new rules about a charge for more than 5 cash deposits blah blah blah and all that were not even communicated to me and if I know the law correctly, "fair warning" and "prior notice" was not made by the bank, which is otherwise imperative.

Perhaps the bank hopes to capitalise on customer's ignorance, which is make new rules, don;t let customers know about them and f**k them so hard with fees and fines that they can spend the next few months and days shuttling between bank, office/business and home just to get answers. Amused as HDFC might be about this whole circus, customers like myself are full of rage because we don;t have time to run around and ask questions much less have the time or money to seek legal recourse.

Then there is this sweet talking b*tch at the front desk who smirks whenever I enter the bank premises, as if to gracefully welcome my getting effed in the a** by her bank so her HDFC bank could rape me more with these unknown fees that they cook up every other day or hour.

HDFC shouldn't be called a “Housing Development Finance Corporation” but rather a “Heaven to Dupe and F**k the Customer”

    Period.

    Regards,
A very very irate being f**ked in the a** customer.

PS:- Now that I have ended my catharsis, I'm sure Mr.Parekh or Kapoor would depute someone for a rejoinder on this with a ticket number. Well don't bother with taking up my complaints. There's a good ol saying that says "Old habits die hard" and if thugging a customer and hiding behind a politician's back is all that the likes of Parekh do for social clemency, then India is f**ked like everybody else, because my case may be solved only to open up in someone elses backyard.

Thumbs down fraudulent commitment by HDFC Banking representati

    Sir,

Lot of cases of fraudulent & fake commitment is being done by representatives of the bank. They get the bank account/fdr/demat account on fake commitment and thereafter charging substantial amount from their account without any consent. As after opening of account customer has nothing to recoup the same.

There should be clear bane on the such type of fake commitment by prestigious bank. As representatives makes fake commitment due to targets and huge commission offered to them by bank.

    This must be stopped immediately
