    Default Rs.20000 have been deducted from my account without receiving any penny

    I am Ashish Tomar (Contact No : 09654916779 and 09456839871 ), one of ICICI bank customer for last 5 years.

    Rs.20,000 (Twenty Thousands only)have been deducted from my account without receiving any penny, I have the transaction slips clearly mentioning transaction failure report from the ATM machines of Axis Bank from where the alleged transaction has been made.

    “THEN HOW CAN THEY CHARGE ME FOR THE TRANSACTION WHICH ARE ALREADY FAILED”

    I uploaded the same slips on my website for your reference please goes through the attachment .


    I tried to withdraw the money (Rs. 10,000 twice) from Axis bank ATM on 1'st June 2012 from Pratap vihar sec 12 , Ghaziabad. But on both the occasions transaction failed and to my horror on both the occasions my account was debited by Rs.10,000 each. I immediately called ICICI bank customer service and lodged the complaint
    (Service request No : 226208702 and 226208557)

    There response was nothing but an absolute lie that I have got the money.

    Then I went to ICICI bank Sec 18 Noida branch for the same issue on 13th June. They have given me another (Service request No : 227631641 and 227630933) and told me to wait for 17 days. Now on 4th of July they replied me that your service request has been closed, without any solution.

    Its over then one month since this problem has happened and its causing me immense pain and mental harassment which I cannot endure any more. I lost Rs.20,000 and the my bank ICICI are not willing to reply me any reasonable answer, except that they have forwarded my complaint to the AXIS bank to investigate the issue.
    Finally, I got the following email from my bank (ICICI).
    ICICI Bank customer carerevert me on my this concern on Jul 7, 2012:

    “Dear Mr. Tomar,

    We thank you for your patience.

    On the basis of our telephonic conversation dated July 7, 2012, we regret to inform you that the Pre Arbitration raised have been rejected by the Acquiring Bank confirming it to be successful transactions. Hence, we will be unable to reverse the disputed transactions amount.

    We have raised a complaint with Service Reference Number SR226208702, SR226208557 for the disputed transaction ID's 4319 and 4696 for Rs. 10,000.00 each. We have received re-presentment from the acquiring bank(Axis Bank) transactions were successful.

    On the basis of your complaint again we have raised the Pre Arbitration against Service Reference Numbers SR227630933, SR227631641 on June 13, 2012.

    We look forward to your co-operation.

    Now I am requesting all the concern authorities to cross check all the facts, even please go through all of your CCTV footage. And refund my hard earned money as soon as possible.

    I am also requesting the Banking Ombudsman to make strict action against the servicing bank, which are not given honest services to their customers. And please stop the third party ATM transaction if they cannot provide services to the others bank customers.

    Hope I will get back my money as soon as possible and I will not face further mental agony and harassment from the concern bank authorities.
