i was travelling to rajasthan during this week started from delhi interacting with people in rural as well as urban areas of jaipur , ajmer ,bewawer,rajsamand ,udaypur and chittor districts and finally landed up at tilonia where bunker roy is doing a great job of rural empowerment . the overall situation is very disappointing that people r not aware of their rights and i personally came across many incidents where police acted as licenced chor .
most of the money going to rural parts is going wasted and crooks r eating up the money.
i came across a petrol pump in district rajsamand this chap gave me less petrol and i knew my car petrol tank can be filled for Rs 1300 and this chap charged me Rs 1500 + and i questioned that u r charging more this guy threatened me that i m carrying a revolver and i m the local M.L.A. of this area "main goli mar dunga varna paise de or chala ja tere jaise bahut log aten hai videshon se hum unki perwa nahin karte".
i told the police about it they said we can not do anything in it. today as i was walking across my house there is a police station i saw a police man taking bribe in front of me that chap imidiately returned the money and went inside the policestation i went behind him asked for SHO these corps talk to me in a rough language and asked me to leave the police station this shows that these police walas r the licensed criminals of the country and we need to work on reform process in the police departments.
this time because of the little efforts i could see the difference in education mafia in U.P.about a lac students r not apearing in the examinations in agra region alone as i have got the education people at district level threatened that in case u do not take steps we r going to file case against u and we r
doing the recording of the things happening there also the effort was exposed by star t.v.network.
I THINK THE EFFORT BY BUNKER IS INITIALLY A GREAT EFFORT AND WE NEED TO HAVE MANY EXAMPLES LIKE THIS AND THESE MODELS CAN BE REPLICATED.
