am an ex-serviceman from Indian Air Force.The Army headquaters vide their
*letter no-96301/Q/DDGCS* dated 06June,2008,had provided me the information
that the dependent children of exservicemen who are below 25 years of age
and are not employed anywhere, can be issued dependent canteen smart cards
for them. I had applied for the same to distt. exservicemen
canteen, Muktsar distt.(Punjab) by deposting rupees 200 vide* reciept
no-324608* in the month of December-2008. At that time , i had even given
them the photographs of my children, the joint photographs, photocopies of
discharge book and pension book and exserviceman identity card. But till
date these dependent smart cards have not been issued to me in respect of my
children. Presently i am serving in railway dept. at Amritsar as Section
officer . Therefore it is not possible for me to go to Distt.CSD canteen
Muktsar every now and then. I had sent my younger brother who is staying at
Muktsar to DISTT. CSD Canteen Muktsar,menquire about these dependent smart
cards in June-2009. But sorry to inform that the canteen authorties now
after 6-months told by younger brother that i should come to the canteen in
person again and re submit the photographs and other documents that i had
submitted in Dec-2008 without giving any reason where the previously
submitted documents have gone.
In view of above, i may be please helped in getting justice.

pls give me details , my dad had served in army in 1960 for 3 yrs , weather he is eligible to take canteen card or not he had ytaken volantary discharge in 1960. pls reply on drmanjunathgaddi@gmail.com

I Ex-JWO Pradip Kr. Banerjee, used to availe my canteen facility at No.2 Cenral Base Post Office by ussing my SMART Card which is meant for Grocery & Liquor. On 05.12.2009 I approached to Liquor Counter by producing my SMART card, but the Army person who was dealing with liquor section, intimated that my card is showing De-Active and nothing can be done with this card, more over he advised to report to Smart Chip Ltd. at Kolkata.
Thing is that I obtained grocery by the same Smart Card.
Anyway I visted to Smart Chip Ltd in Kolkata but they instantly denied me and not attained my problem, in this case to whom I should report.
Ex-Servicemmen are really treated as encumber/burden where ever they sick help from defence authority.

Sir,
I am a retired Army officer.The chip of my CSD Smart Card has got damaged and as a result De- Active status is being shown on the monitor. The CSD Smart Card was issued to me by the Golden Palm Canteen, Bangalore. However, since then I have moved on to a non- military station viz Silvassa. How can I get a new CSD Smart Card?

I am ex Sgt discharged from services in June 2007. After three years of discharge I contacted my Are Golden Lion Canteen where I had registered my self for availing canteen facilities for renewal of cards. The canteen Manager says that he cant issue card to dependent parents. Now Is this correct? To tell you My parents were issued with smart card when I was in service and thereafter also they have availed this facility without any trouble. Now I dont understand why the manager is denying to renew the card of dependent parents. Please do clarify the trouble.

sir, I'm a retired army employee... l lost my canteen card. how can i get a new card instead?

Sir/Madam,
can anyone clarify the following. My father is getting retired by December, 2010. We are now using the CSD Smart Card which is in his name. Is there any possibilities of getting a card for dependents like for son, daughter. we are mainly from Bangalore. We shall be grateful, if you could kindly let us know that the process of getting the Dependent CSD Smart Card.

Pls tell me Can Authrised CSD smart Card for service 4 years 2 month in Army. Pls Give The rule of Army.

I am ex Sgt Anil Kishor Tiwari discharged from services (Indian Air Force) in 17 Sep 2008. After two and half years of discharge I contacted Air Force Canteen Makarpura (Vadodara) Canteen where I had registered my self for availing canteen facilities for new issue of cards. I have applied three times for the same but I am not in position of Smart Card. I have complained but Smart Chip makes told that my card already being made and for another card i have to raise FIR, But my question , Once I have not received the Smart Card how I can launch FIR and also Police station asking Card No and so many things. After becoming EX-Serviceman I have applied again as an EX-Seervicemen also passed one Year. Not able to under stand the problem. Presently I have applied for self ,Wife , daughter and son . KIndly clarify . I have given one letter to the following person but stil I am not in position of Smart Car. Please do clarify the trouble. Details of person to who I have given Letter one year before.

I am an ex-servicemen from Indian air Force. I had applied for Canteen stores Department (CSD) smart card during the year 2008 at 06 BN (NCC), Puri, Orissa. Even after a lapse of three years the card is neither issued to me from the office nor the staus of the card is intimated to me. I have contacted to various offices related to the issue, but could not get any fruitful result.
Kindly guide whether I can get the card before sun set. It may be noted that this is a facility extended to retired defence personnel by Govt. of India.

I am pensioner and only one main family earner . Now a day the price of daily
Commodity is sky kissing so I feel the necessity of canteen card after too many years of retirement.
So kindly give the permission of canteen card and save my family from this market condition.

I am an exservicemen from IAF. I applied for CSD smart card during sept 2008. As of now the card is not issued to me nor the staus of the card. My request to ZSB and unit canteen found fruitless. Pl guide how to obtain the card.

my father was a ex-serviceman, after retirement from army he got re employment in a govt dept. he expired during that service at that time he was getting pension from army and also got canteen services continuously. after his death only one family pension was allowed according to govt rules, so we opted for pension from the govt dept where he was re employed. army pension was not allowed to us. jila sainik board issued a canteen smart card to the family, and we got canteen facility for 2 years. we lost our smart card in a theft(we got the FIR regd with police for that) we applied for renewal of the smart card. officers of zila sainik board are not issuing us the card even after applying according to due process. can v file a consumer complaint? or is ther any other remedy. plz suggest

though the govt has issued the smart cards, canteens are not accepting the issues of liquor except in their respective canteens where the card is issued
