My car met with an accident on 19th April,2011 at 7:10 a.m. near Neemrana NH while travelling from Delhi to Rajasthan. There were 4 people in the car. The car was heavily damaged and all the 4 persons sustained some minor injuries. The highway patrol team reached the site immediately and were very helpful to us. We called the crane to take the vehicle back to Delhi. However, the police on reaching the site, insisted the vehicle and all the 4 people be first taken to the Neemrana police station to lodge a complaint. On reaching the police station, the police inspector there, started harrassing us saying that he will file a case against us for blocking the highway and will not free our vehicle. We were already very disturbed due to injuries and did not have the strength to argue with him. However, I left my manager at the police station to settle the case. They harrassed him for another 4 hours and then left our vehicle after settlement without lodging any official complaint of the accident and paper work.
