Madhya Pradesh Friday terminated the services of two judges for dereliction of duty, bringing the total number of sacked judges in the last one year to 16.

According to an official release, the Madhya Pradesh government took the step on a recommendation made by the state High Court.

The full bench of the high court from time to time scrutinises the performance of all judges of the state.

The bench found the performance of judges Pragati Nayak and Sunil Kumar Dohre unsatisfactory and recommended the state government terminate their services with immediate effect.

Both the judges were posted in Narsinghpur district.
