Dear Sir/Madam,

We come across a lot of discount offers, etc. But a lot of times they
do not get us any real benefit and only used as an advertising medium.
I think it is time when some action should be taken against them.

We bought some stuff at Lifestyle and received a 25% discount coupon
for Ayurcare, Ayurvedic Wellness Center. When I called up at their HSR
Layout center, to enquire about the offer, they said the starting
range of the service is Rs.1000/- for a head to toe ayurvedic oil msg.
But when I told them that I had a 25% I was told that a minimum
Rs.1500/- service should be taken to avail this discount. However the
coupon does not specify this condition. Even where the coupon says
*conditions apply, the conditions specified are only 2. 1 - Please
produce your inner circle card to avail this offer and 2 - Voucher can
not be exchanged for cash or clubbed with other offers. Minimum
billing of Rs.1500/- is not stated as a condition in the discount
coupon. So basically, they are giving no discount atall.. we have to
spend 1500 instead of 1000 if we want to get 25% off and for the sake
of it.. they call it aroma oil massage and the one for 1000 was
ayurvedic oil massage. This, I think is not fare at all and something
should be done about it, so that more people dont get deceived with
such offers.
