Herbal cosmetics queen Shahnaz Husain is drawing huge crowds and media attention in Russia, with two ships on a Baltic cruise loaded with her beauty products proving to be an added attraction.

Husain, who has gone to St. Petersburg to participate in a beauty exhibition and promote ayurveda, has taken her formulations for skin, hair and body care with her, said a press release here Thursday.

Even as fans clamoured for her autograph, she gave more than 400 free consultations followed by talks and demonstration of the specialised beauty treatments she has to offer.

Apart from getting huge media attention, the beauty ambassador of India shared her experience and expertise with more than 200 women of different diplomatic missions based in St. Petersburg.

The highlight of Husain's visit was a spectacular Baltic cruise, involving the sail of two Shahnaz Sailing Ships from St. Petersburg to Helsinki, the capital of Finland, to promote her products.
