Dear Sir/Madam,
I am from a a remote place called Jaigoan in West Bengal. Recently I had to buy bottle of ayurvedic medicines from the local pharmacist M/S R K Ayurvedic Pharmacy for which he charged me Rs 300. On verifying the bottle, I found that he had tampered with the MRP printed on the bottle, but even then I could faintly make out the MRP which was Rs 95.00.
On confronting him about it, his clarification was that since the particular medicine was not readily available in the market, he too has to pay a premium on his purchases, hence he could not sell on the MRP. On discussing the matter with a couple of my friends, I found out that he has been charging above MRP for nearly all the medicines available in his shop.
PLease advice what my next course of action should be.
