I have applied for an ATM card as I have lost the one I held. On 14th November 2011, the bank charged a fee of INR 220.00 towards replacement of the card. Till today, the ATM card was not received. The bank has standards to delivery them in 10days time. However, the bank has charged 220.00 immediately upon my request and there is ABSOLUTELY NO OWNERSHIP for delivery of the card and the card has not been delivered till date.

Today, (05th December 2011) the bank reversed the entry on my visiting the branch and claims that it will take another 10 days for them as they are requesting the concerned dept., only TODAY with a fresh request.

Due to this, the amount of frustration, wait at home for the last so many days in anticipation of receving the courier etc., has gone waste. The most important aspect of this is the onus of responsibility where NO ONE seems to take the responsibility for this. However, they follow the rules relgiously which is to charge the customer immediately and fleece them.

Can someone look at this please?
