In the month of June -2009. ( June 6th 2009).I try to withdraw an amount of
Rs: 20000/- using my HSBC debit card in HDFC ATM, at Koramangala, Bangalore.
I have received only 40 nos of 100 rupees notes that is Rs.4000 only and
the ATM was not dispensed Rs. 16000.My name is manoharan Packirisamy and My
HSBC Acct no: 132 150632 006. I have not received amount from the ATM.but
amount of Rs.20000/- has been deducted from HSBC account. When I launch the
complaint in HSBC, They said initially that it is happening most of the
customers nowadays .we will get back to you within 5 working days. After so
many follow up, after a month HSBC people is saying that “we have forwarded
the same for further investigations to the member bank (HDFC) and they have
confirmed that INR 20,000.00 was dispensed”. Whenever I call HSBC through
their customer care, they are not responding properly and said clearly we
can not anything for this. I do not understand the role of HSBC for solving
this issue.moreever they have got the conclusion with HDFC by using only the
transaction slip. (Time in the Transaction slip also wrong as it is
mentioned 11.44 AM in the Bank letter but my Transaction slip says 11.46AM).
Still I do not understand such a big bank does not know the way of
investigating this with the HDFC Bank.
I have a few questions to get the clarity on this.
HDFC is cheating HSBC?
Or
Are both banks sharing my money which was not dispensed by the ATM on
06.06.2009? Still I have no clue on this. Can please look into this matter
and help me.
