Hi Sir/Madam,
Yesterday(27 th May 2009 , around 7:25-7:30pm) I used the Canara Bank's ATM at Mumbai CST station . Being an HDFC Bank customer , I had inserted HDFC's Debit Card & made the query for Withdrawl of money. Suddenly , I saw the ATM Operating System(Windows XP) shutting done & was unable to recover the ATM card of mine . I waited for the machine to restart & after that also I didn't get back the card. I felt helpless as there was no security guard positioned outside the ATM to assist me . I called the Customer care (Helpline no mentioned inside the ATM : 02226860817 - Canara Bank , Goregaon East Branch) a no of times but no one dared to pick up my call . Finally I had to block my card from HDFC Bank.
Is this the type of service your bank provides to customers ? If Canara Bank cannot handle other Bank's customers it's better they mention it properly outside the ATM.

I sent another reminder mail to them on 10 July 2009 16:32PM but still they didn't reply.
I want a proper justification from the Canara Bank authorities & adequate compensation for the unnecessary harassment for their incompetency . Inspite of writing mails they don't care to reply.
