    Post Account debited even though ATM transaction failed.

    Dear Sir, Myself Mr Sujit Rajhuns holding a salary a/c with ICICI bank, Bhandarkar Road Branch, Pune. On date 2nd March 2010 at 07:00 PM I tried to withdraw Rs 6000 from SBI ATM situated near Tapovan Mandir in Pimpri, Dist :Pune, ATM ID : S1CN00592302, but the transaction was failed and ATM didnt dispense me the money. After some time i received SMS from ICICI bank that my account is debited for Rs 6000.
    Please be noted that SBI ATM didnt dispense any money to me as the transaction was failed. Transaction was made on 2nd march 2010 at 19:00:56, i dont know the exact transaction # as the ATM slip was scrapped.
    I've some urgent ECS, cheque payments to make asap, delay will cause the additional charge to me. Need to know if bank can refund me those additional charges too.
    I've raised complaint with phone banking as well as netbanking too, but when i call up your customer care to track my complain they gives very diplomatic answers which is nowhere helpful to me.

    Default Will I get my money Back

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    Hoping all izz well.
    I am having an account in ICICI Bank.And I am from Hyderabad,Andhra Pradesh.
    On 1st March 2010,I had went to withdraw the amount of Rs.2000/- from SBI ATM,Kachiguda,Hyderabad,A.P.Suddenly while withdrawing the system got stuck and the machine stopped working.I had tried on the next machine.I had withdrawed the same amount of Rs.2000/- but unfortunately I had found the total withdraw was taken as Rs.4000/-.I had inquired the security person over there.He said give a complain to your bank people or SBI people.
    The next day I had called my Bank people and they had assured me that the case will get solved with in 12 days.
    I just want to inquire will I get the amount back.If not what is the legal method to get back the amount.

    My mother Mrs Mamta Saxena is holding an account in PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK, MORAR, GWALIOR. On 25 SEP 2009 she made a failed attempt to withdraw Rs 10,000/- from AXIS BANK ATM located at CITY CENTRE GWALIOR but all in vain. But to her surprise the money was deducted from her account. After that she has made so many attempts to get her money bank by going to the banks regularly. Even she has lodged a complaint at customer care and the Docket number given was K 21233153 dated 30 Oct 2009.
    Now even after 6months has b passed the money has not come back in her account.Even i tried my level best and called up the higher offcials but all in vain again.Even the BANK MANAGER of PNB MORAR GWALIOR bank has said he cannot help us out because he has already send the complaint form to the higher authorities.
    I would like to request you to help us out in this regard. All the required data

    BANK NAME-- PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK MORAR GWALIOR
    ACCOUNT HOLDER NAME-- Mrs MAMTA SAXENA
    AMOUNT INVOLVED--- Rs 10,000/-

    I am thankful to my Bank people"ICICI Bank" they had reversed my amount in my bank.
    If you are an ICICI bank account holder the a good suggestion to you all.
    Go to ICICI customer care number,then go to check your account balance(they will ask your account number or debit card number and pin code) the press number"9".Then it will go directly to the concern person and they will say it will hardly take 12 days.
    My amount has been reversed in my account with in 7 days.

    Post wrong atm transaction

    Sir, i have an account with state bank of patiala. On 10th April, 2010, i have not made any transaction through ATM or bank but my account is showing transaction of rs.4000 via ATM with ID no. s1cw3842 & txn. no 466.
    i dont know about the ATM,s bank via its ID. Can you plz tell me, how this transaction can happen without ATM card & how it can be tracked.

    Default for ATM service

    Dear Sir,
    I have account in SBI Kota Branch code 10834 Distt Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh . My account number 30913417038 & card no 6220181083400013962. I do transction in Akaltara on date 01.01.10 of 500 Rs but i receive receipt of 300 Rs. I have not made any transction in 03.01.10 but my account show transction of 500 Rs date 03.01.10. I do complain in written in branch office & talk to head office bombay. Head office say that you do transction on date 03.01.10. In this month i do transction of 100 Rs in date 14.06.10 in my statement show double transction of 100 Rs in date 14.06.10. Please solve my problem.

    Default ATM complaint

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Im a resident in Bangalore. I have opened a New account with Canara Bank, South End Branch. On 10th April,2010, had been to Canara Bank ATM in Jayanagar 4th Block, to withdraw Rs 5000/-. Due to non withdrawal of cash within the limited time, cash was re-captured by ATM. I have submitted a letter regarding the same on the same day.Also, had sent a mail on 27th April,2010 to ATM. I have been following up with the bank but the only reply i get is they will check and it will soon be credited to my account.


    This is causing lot of problem to me, as the amount involved is not small..................

    Default transaction declined 5000 from hdfc atm

Generally, in cases where an ATM transaction has failed and the money is debited from your account, it takes the bank 12 working days to verify the transaction details and refund the amount back to your account.     Default Transaction Problem

    Sir,
    I Mr. Manoranjan Kumar day before yesterday withdraw the amount of 15000/- from the SBBJ Bank but unfortunetly the money didn't came and the transaction was completed and the 15000/- was deducted from my account.
    So kindly requested you to look into the matter and do the needfull.

    It is mandatory for the banks to reimburse the customers, the amount wrongfully debited on account of failed ATM transactions, within a maximum period of 12 working days from the date of receipt of the customer complaint.

    For any failure to re-credit the customers account within 12 working days from the date of receipt of the complaint, the bank shall pay compensation of Rs.100/-, per day, to the aggrieved customer.

    Post Atm display incorrect pin

    Sir,
    I've An Account with State Bank Of Bikaner & Jaipur. My A/c no. is 61027556611, My Last Successful Transaction is on 22nd July 2010, After that i've tried 13th Aug.2010 The ATM display Incorrect PIN Please Re-enter Pin. & Response Code 070, I Submitted My Identity Proof Documents To The Branch(SBBJ-Bari Sadri) & Open The Account Then I tried with ATM M/c yet it Shows The Incorrect PIN But Response Code Is Not 070 it is 055. What it is.
    How I Can transact with ATM Card to withdraw my sum.
    Is it possible that if a/c is closed by Bank Policy then its PIN no. change Automatically? Then How I Can Get The Change PIN.

    Unhappy can i use atm after 6months

    Post Rectification of error for wrong debit of Rs. 9300/-

    Dear Sir/ Mam,

    I Please rectify the error of wrong debit of Rs. 9300/- (Rs. Nine thousand and three Hundred only) on 15-07-2010 from my account bearing Account Number: 909010034426059

    I have already submitted this information in writing at Branch Mayur Vihar Phase-II, New Delhi on 23-07-2010, and been waiting for the rectification but nothing is done yet. Please do the needful otherwise I will go to the consumer court.
