Since the transaction failure happened at an HDFC Bank ATM, would request you to follow the below procedure for claiming your funds:
1. Submit a complaint /dispute letter with the issuing branch (SBI) where you hold the savings bank account.
2. The issuing Bank will then raise a charge back dispute/query on us (HDFC BANK) seeking the disputed transaction status.
3. If the transaction stands invalid as per your claim, the funds will be returned to the issuing bank, which would be credited to your account by your respective bank.
We would additionally like to caution you against posting sensitive information such as your ATM card number on a public forum such as this, as it is liable to be misused, leading to grave losses.
