Sir,
I, K.Bodeyya working as AE/ APGENCO, Nagarjunasagar, having Savings Bank Account No. 62089964358 in Nagarjuna sagar, pylon branch,State bank of hyderabad. I have attempted to draw an amount of Rs. 6000/- (Rupees six thousand only) from the syndicate branch ATM at labbipet ,vijayawada , on 30-07-2010. But I could not received an amount of Rs. 6000/- from the ATM and same amount was debited from my account. I had given the written complaint to The Manager ,syndicate Bank, Labbipet ,vijayawada on the same day. When I contact the Manger of syndicate bank by phone he said that I should give the complaint to the Account Branch only .
Hence, i given complaint at Nagarjunasagar pylon SBH branch on 24-08-10 with proofs, but till now i have not got money. Every week i am going to my A/c branch and asking about moneny but they are not responding properly. The branch manager every time he is saying that come on next week.
so please help me in this matter.

Send a RTI as per RTI rules through your bank manager
Give full details of your efforts and mention that there is a RBI circular No. RBI/2009-2010/100 - DPSS No.101/02.10.02/2009-2010 dated 17-07-2009 in the matter of reconciliation of transactions at ATMs failure – Time limit, wherein it has been mandated to compensate to the customer Rs.100/- per day for delay beyond 12 days from date of receipt of complaint by the bank for failed ATM transaction i.e. where account is debited but no cash is paid at ATM. This amount has to be compensated by bank with amount of failed transaction, even when customer has not claimed compensation.
In this circumtances please supply me information, the name of the officer who is looking after my complaint.
2. Time limit bank has set to resolve this complaint with compensation to my account.
3. Reasons on record for this delay and day to day progress made on this issue by the said officer.
4. Taking no action is also the information and you should supply with reasons.
