    Exclamation regarding atm tranaction malfunction and amount not credited

    Sir,

    I have a salary account at CAZRI, Shastrinagar, Jodhpur, Raj (Ac/no- 10186065530), a few days back (26/03/09) i had made a transaction from the ATM at SBI Palampur, when the transaction was over no money was out and when I checked the balance it showed 20,000 withdrawl from my account. I reported at the SBI palampur to the ATM officer there who asked me to fulfill some formalities and for some documents to be faxed form jodhpur SBI , I did all within few hours , he told me to wait for 4 days. I went again after 4 days the amount was still not added in my account, I went to the ATM officer again he didnt gave any satisfying reply and told me to wait for some more days, I called back at Jodhpur SBI they told me all the formalities are done and they should credit that amount in your account but nothing happned. As my leave have ended and I am back at Jodhpur , here I am checking my account regularly but still the conditions are the same after 20 days, I even tried to call the ATM officer at Palampur on his cell which i took from the ATM counter, but his cell is switched off every time (Why are the Cell nos. give at the ATM counter if they are not used?). Now i am in a hanging condition I have given a Cheque of Rs 20000 at Himachal Pradesh to the party for 10/04/09, if it bounces who will be responsibe?, the condition is such that I am in need of money and I cant use my money now , We have a salary account at SBI as we beleive in it but if such things happen we are really in a confused condition whom to believe or whom not to.
    Sir, after a longn searching on net I got your email address, and mailing you with a hope that my troubles will be resolved.kindly eradicate my problems as I have a marrige at home in few day from now and I need the money urgently.

    Txn 206 dated 260309 of Rs.20000/ done by card 6220180325800024615, A/c 10186065530 at S1AC00069201 was not successful, but a/c was debited and credit went to 9854900692C. ATM branch should debit its BGL 98549 and credit customer A/c/ Branch, as given in annexure of e-cir 720 dated 04/03/2009

    Default Request to re-credit account

    Sir,

    I have a savings account at BARENGAPARA BRANCH, BARENGAPARA, WEST GARO HILLS, MEGHLAYA, PRANAB KOCH (Ac/no- 11672249698), a few days back (14/12/09) i had made a transaction from the ATM at KARNATKA BANK LIMITED(Guwahati G S road), when the transaction was over no money was out and when I checked the balance it showed timed out and my balance was debited by Rs 1000 withdrawl from my account. I reported at the SBI BARENGAPARA BRANCH to the ATM officer there who asked me to fulfill some formalities and for some documents , I did all within few hours on (16/12/09) , he told me to wait for some days. I went again to check my balance but it did not recredited . So I went to SBI BARENGAPARA they did not give me any satisfied result . So I request you to link with DATA CENTER and refill my account by Rs 1000 immediately and I was a student in Guwahati so it becomes a big problem for me. I went to KARNATAKA BANK on (08/01/10) they told me to give a message on net so I am giving a message to you to response within 3 days.

    So, please accept my request it becomes abig problem for me to manage Rs 1000 in a city like Guwahati. And my e-mail address is kochpranab@yahoo.in.

    Hello,

    This is a normal/common problem with ATM machines, to solve the issue just send a written notice to the GM and the Branch manager of your bank and ask them to refund the amount with interest + damages due to their services. Wait for 15-20 days for their reply.

    The below mentioned judgment may help you:

    ATM not working properly -- Facility has been provided to saving bank account holder, such services have been provided for consideration, hence the saving bank account holder is a consumer, complaint maintainability account holder.

    dear sir,

    With due respect i want to say that i have use Bank of india, tupudana branch ranchi (jharkhand) ATM for use withdraw money on 25/10/2011
    for rs 5000 but at the time my A/C got debit but i have not received money.
    it take very long time to settelment my transaction please help me.
