I have an account in Oriental Bank of commerce. In April 2008 I made a
transaction from SBI ATM near my home because of OBC ATM was not on
work. I Commanded to withdraw INR.1500 but transaction was declined. I
came back and i checked it in the evening, i shocked that amount was
deducted from my account. I went to SBI branch first then they told me
to complained at my OBC branch. I made a written complaint to the
authority. I am working in a private Company so i dont have enough
time to go to the branch, but i went four time in branch. the person
who resolves this complaint was on leave every time i went as same
culture of goverenment employee or organisation. IMy problem is not on
solution till date. please tell me what i have to do? I dont have any
recipt or acknoledgement of my complaint. please respond me if there
is any solution otherwise i have only way to forget all.

You can complain to the banking ombudsman of the region where you reside. Please
search on the internet with banking ombudsman word and you will get the details
of various addresses and the relevant regions. Please preserve all documents and
chronology of events with names etc. Of the officer concerned. Take acknowledged
copies of whatever you submit to any authority. Avoid accepting verbal promises
and try to take it in writing to the extent possible and note down the verbal
    promises properly.

you can tell the bank manager to come withyou and show him by taking 100 rs
    from sbi atm
, else you can capture the whole process with video camera, and show him it.

Nothing to worry in this. Normally as part of accounting SBI will find the
excess money and automatically things must get resolved.
If it does not happen then dont waste time going to the bank, send a registered
post to the Bank officer you need to complain to , maybe the manager.
This will be a proof that you informed them.

    Thanks,
