hello all my name is sheetal sharma a physiotherapy student living in delhi.I m having a student account of PNB bank from meerut(UP).last month on 6th of aug i tried to withdraw an amount of rs7600 from some other bank's atm but havent received the money, but the receipt i received from that machine was showing the amount deducted.
firstly i was confused that if the deposit by my parents is compleped or not therefore i confirmed it from the toll free no of pnb that is 18001802222.when they told me that the deposit is sucessful then i asked them to raise a complaint against that transiction.for that they told me to wait for 48hrs,and convinced me that the money will be automatically refunded,so i waited till 8th of august.
on 8th of august when i found that money is not debited,i called pnb toll free no again to launch a complaint.that day they provided me with a complaint number 18547249 and again told me to wait for 12 to 15 working days and convinced me that within maximum time period of 15 working days money will be refunded,with commitment.from those 15 working days are over i m regularly contacting pnb helpline,but never got any commitment or any convincing answer.for that long period i managed to run my day to day expenditure by borrowing and sometimes by literally begging from my friends.
now the condition is that the money my parents use to send every month is used to return all my credits and i m even eating without paying the money to the concern person.i can ask for the money from my parents but don't want to bother them.all u guys are the last hope for the advice.what should i do,where should i go, whom should i contact......
this is to be noticed that i also tried to contact the branch manager of naraina and meerut as well,and from them i got a unhelpful misbehaving answer that we are not responsible for help and go and contact pnb toll free number for help.
plz help.....i would appriciate all of ur replies and suggestions.....
