Aquatica - Kolkata (Improper service and Illegal charging) Hi all,
Just wanted to share and complain about the atrocities of Aquatica Kolkata, West Bengal. It is one of the stupidest place running on the whims and fancies of the Management of that place.
They do not have anything called customer relationship management. The way they behave with customers is way off target.
If I can jot down, these are the points which struck and astonished me most.
1) Wave Pool was supposed to start at 11:30 am, but it started at 1:30 pm. Although I complained about it. No one took any action.
2) Water was terribly unclean and not refreshed at all.
3) Food court provided a handwritten bill. I could only assume how much is shown as income to Government.
4) Locker and Changing rooms were dirty to such an extent, almost making it unusable. Not to talk about the toilet facilities.
5) Shocking of all, Aquatica buses charged Rs.10 per head for a drop to Karunamoyee without providing us with any tickets. I asked for the tickets, but he replied back saying this bus was run by their "SIR" (the Aquatica Manager) and like a God he can charge for anything. Just to mention, the bus was branded with Aquatica.
All this suffering for Rs. 150, which is way above the facialities provided at Aquatica Kolkata.
Anticipating some action soon.

Rooms are also not provided properly and getting it after bribe.
Even dirty sounds to clean 4 such place on 26th march 2011 we been there at 10:15h.
3 adults and a child of 11 years. astonish at the entrance gate to learn that even our child had to pay the adult fare about 250 RS per person. Surprise the counter and entrance opens at 10:00h but the activities starting at 11:00h only. on top of that 35%-40% of the activities were in improper conditions or even not working or quite dangerous to use. the water quality was unhygienic and very dirty !! As the lunch break started at 13:30h for ONE hour we left the lousy place for wet O' wild and there it's been much better .
Never before in my life i saw such a lousy place like Aquatica and in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand or Hong Kong it would have been closed by the order of the Municipal or the Government immediately.
But what can you expect from a corrupted Government like in WB/Kolkata ? Right nothing!

Mr CoolZZZZ I thought of going to aquatica on my birthday this 11th with my gf but after reading the comments from you guys
i think of going for wet o' wild thogh it is little bit expensive.
I went to this place when it opened for the first time and a 3-4 years earlier it was good then but what happened to this place i dont know maybe "LACK OF BUSINESS ETHICS".......

Experience
1. Absolute Unchanged for atleast 4 days / unhygenic Water
2. Worst maintenance of joyrides leads to endanger tourist life
3. Extremely Poor attitude / behaviour
4. Toilet/Changing room, Lockers etc. are of low grade
5. Food quality is unbearable
Pl. treat this as my official complaint, and kindly take necessary action, failure of which will compel to escalate the same to appropriate legal authority
All above complaints will be substantiated with evidence (document, still photos, video / sound clips)
Even, aquatica's own men were involved to post good comments in this and other forums

I don't know what to do?! Gosh! Just now I won all free trip to Aquatica for four persons! And I opened internet to know the location of this amusement park! And you guys, after reading all of your comments and complaints I am confused! I can't decide whether I should go there or not! Well, I have decided to go there as a visitor! And if I found it all OK (luckily according to you) then I think I can use my lottery ticket!

Today 26 th february sunday i went toAquatica.It's a cool place.the water was ok.everithing was fine.I havent find any problem.The day was bindass and full of fun.
