    Unhappy Refund of amount debited for booking of air line ticket through MakeMyTrip.com.

    Subject: Refund of amount debited for booking of air line ticket through MakeMyTrip.com.

    Sir,
    I have booked an air ticket through MakeMyTrip.com using my SBI debit card. The details are given as under:
    • Date of booking :- 23.07.2009.
    • Date of Journey :- 04.10.2009 at 11.50 am
    • Name of Airline :- Air India IC-206, From Dibrugarh to Kolkata.
    • Ticket Fare :- Rs. 4429/-
    • MakeMyTrip.com booking ID :- IN0907B06032
    • SBI debit card no. :- 6220180021800043289
    • SBI Savings A/c No. :- 030134462904

    The amount was debited from my SBI savings account on 23.07.2009. But I have not received the ticket from MakeMyTrip.com.

    I have enquired with MakeMyTrip.com Authorities. They informed that they have not received any amount from my account.

    Thereafter i.e. on 25.07.2009 I gave a written request to Bank Manager, State Bank of India, Farakka Branch (Branch Code: 218), P.O. Farakka Barrage, Dist. Murshidabad (West Bengal) Pin – 742212, to refund the debited amount to my account. SBI Bank Manager sent this case for enquiry.

    After a long period, SBI Bank Manager has given me enquiry report on 28.08.2009 which states that the amount has been transferred from my account to Axis Bank (Rs. 4429.00 on account of POS transaction No. 6001 at POS Terminal No.920455015592 through my debit card on 23.07.2009).

    Now SBI Branch Manager says that the Bank is not responsible for further action to be taken.

    After receiving the enquiry report of SBI I have again contacted MakeMyTrip.com Authorities over telephone. They repeated that they have not received any amount from my account. Now I don’t know how to get my money refunded.

    Therefore, I humbly request you to consider my case and kindly take a suitable decision to get back my money.

    Angry Refund from Yatra.com

    Sir,
    I have booked an air ticket through Yatra.com by using my Citibank credit card. The details are given as under:

    • Date of booking :- 08/10/2009.
    • Date of Journey :- 08.10.2009 at 16.45 pm
    • Name of Airline :- Raipur - Mumbai flight ( Jet Airways ).
    • Ticket Fare :- Rs. 8083/-
    • Yatra.com booking ID :- 09E0PC

    I applied for the air ticket of Raipur - Mumbai flight ( Jet Airways ) on 08/10/2009.
    For this the amount Rs. 8083 was deducted from my account. Then I got a call from Yatra.com saying we can not confirm your booking due to some reasons. Then I was told to pay another Rs. 4849 additionally, which also I paid immediately. Then again I got a call from Yatra saying That there was some error from Yatra & now they can not give a ticket I will have to book new one. Yatra will pay me the total amount back within 5 working days.

    I have paid total 8083 + 4849 = 12931.against same booking. Even after all these transactions Yatra.com could not give me ticket.At last movement I have to take direct ticket from Jet airways of worth Rs 17883.
    Now even after 26 Days I have not got any refund from Yatra.com. I have logged call on yatra.com, I send mails several times, I called on customer care also.
    For my mails there was no response. when I called them every time they give commitments that my money will get refunded within 3/4 working days but still I din't get any thing.
    My complaint ref no.to yatra.com are - 4232484.,4193907.

    This whole transaction has given me a lot of irritation because I have purchased a ticket at the cost of 17883 which should be of rs 8083. Becouse 2 of my colegues have purchased in same amount at same time.
    And on top of it till now I have not recieved my 12931 rs. back, which yatra.com has taken from me.For this payment now citibank will charge me interest.

    Therefore, I humbly request you to consider my case and kindly take a suitable decision to get back my money.

    I have bought an air ticketdated 27 october .I was not able to travel on that date can I canvel the ticket and refund it now.

    I suppose to get Refund Amount Rs. 3,120 by 14th december 2009 as per your policy but still I didn't get any refund from Makemytrip.

    I have mailed 3 times and I have call to 1-800-102 8747 several times but no response from your team.
    I have asked for escalation matrix to the customer care but they asked me to write a mail but how many times I have to write. There is no acknowledgement and reply for earlier mail.

    Due to bad response makemytrip have to pay the whole amount or else I have to take alternative steps to get my money back.

    several times I have for payment confirmation number for which Makemytrip paid to ICICI bank but they not providing any details.

    They have asked for bank statement on 28th December 2009 but after sending it no reply. Then they have asked for card number on 31st December2009 after it also no reply,
    If you are going to follow this same you will lose the customers. Its an bad experience for me with Makemytrip.

    Hello,

    Send a written notice via registered post to the CMD of Make my trip about your problem, mention all the complaints no. registered with customer care and other relevant document like purchase bill, reference of refund policy of makemytrip.com and ask them for the refund + 12% interest + damages within the mentioned period of 15-20 days else you will drag them to the consumer forum.

    Note: Do not forget to keep the slip of registered post in safe, it will help you if you need to knock the Consumer Forum.

    Post refund amount make my trip refrence ID 110228-021416‏‏

    This is to inform u that ticket was book for 27 feb and conforming mail was received fm make my trip for three pax, one pax name
    was cancel for which we have applied credit and balance 2 pax were on th same pnr no but when we went to the airport We were inform the date was booked for 28 feb and not 27 feb without me changing the dates , that menace after receiving conformation from go air make my trip has changed the dates to 28 feb as it has sent me conformation mail for 27 feb at time of booking .
    As the pnr is same for both ticket at the time of booking that is 27 feb and 28 feb how can i make the changes without paying cancellation charges for the same pnr AS PAID FOR ONE PAX. Pl look into this matter as dates changes were not made by the consumer they cannot Be blame but since the mail sent to ME to conforming the booking at the booking time that is the proof that the booking is made is correct and it is not the fault of the costumer .I HAVE SENT MANNY MAILS TO MAKE MY TRIP BUT NON OF THE MAIL HAS BEE ANSWERED PL help ME for REFUND FOR THE FULL AMOUNT FOR THE RETURN BOOKING TICKET AND THE DIFFERENCE AMOUNT OF TICKET BOUGHT AT THE AIRPORT BY GO AIR TO ISSUE NEW TICKETS for 27 feb .

    i have made hotel booking on 14 apr 2011..which was n't succesful due to some technical error..this happened twice...But amount has been debited from my account twice....i have send them bank statements & everything...but of no use..i have just been following them for refund....i have mail from them which says your refund is processed ...but i am still waiting for same...and sick of following it up from last 10-11 days...

    some one pl help me....what is escalation matrix...any appropriate email id...

    Post unable to refund since 6months

    hello,
    i booked online on a wrong name and i was unable to use the ticket. i requested for refunds and for the priod of six month all i get is mails from incompetent staff, interswitch and bank.

    what do you think i should do now?

    Default i cannot use my SBI debit card for booking tickets online

    i have been taking my tickets using my axis debit card many times.But im trying to get my tickets by using my SBI debit card which does not get process at all.i want to know what is the problem behind this.anywy if we see the payment details we can see that SBI debit card can be used but which is really not happening.could you pease help ,me with this predicament?

    Hi Sbi,

    I have made an Transaction on 2nd jan-2021 from Vijayawada to Bangalore but the transaction is failed but the amount RS.16170/- was debited from my state bank account.


    Can you please check and revert the cash back to my account.

    I And i have raised an ticket (AT42923390774) with SBI and when ever i caled them they are telling that the request is refered state.

    sir iam parasram working in dubai as a school bus driver iam from india and iam aex sarvice man sir last year in fab2012 i took 9 air ticket from gs travel owner is mrs charanpreet kour gs travel but her husbend mr navrup singh doing all booking and all work of travel iam not now to mr navrup singh but my douthers son densh kumar was working with my navrup singh last fab i was tring to by air ticket to go home on leave that time dinesh told me if in dubai ticket is to high then u ask my boss mybe he give u ticket then i call navrup hi told me sir i give u chife ticket and he told in india all plece i give u emirets ticket in 20000.00 per ticket so sir 1st i took 2 ticket dubai to delhi and back and i send monay by westn unoin and i re check that ticket hear emirets head office they told ticket is ok and confom then mr navrup told me sir if u want more ticket u can by same rets then i ask my friands and more 7 ticket i by and i send monay by westn union but sir before taravling hi refond 8 ticket 1 ticket he cant refond sir i have all e ticket in my mail recept of monay wich he send me hear one andra bank check wich hi give me amount is 70000.00 but that check was bounce now mr navrup sigh is close he phone close her shop i cant conterct her but i have both her hasbend wife passport copy i can send all avidence please sir help me iam a poor man i take lone on intrest and i give back payment to my all friands sir iam leaving in himachal pradesh disst solan and my wife ph no is 9882073897 if u need some things she help u thanke

Since then every 3 working days, I gave them a call, they keep telling me that within another 3 working days it will be processed but giving no reason why it happens. I'm not able to trust them again, please help.
