Dear Sir/Madam

I traveled from Kathmandu to Delhi in Spicejet flight SG 042 on 09/02/2012. This flight was scheduled to depart at 1140 hours and arrive in Delhi by 1315 hours. I had to catch my next flight, Jet Airways 9W 2219 scheduled departure at 1635 hours, from Delhi to Pune. But due to delay in departure of the Spicejet flight from Kathmandu, I missed my Delhi-Pune flight. The Spicejet flight departed from Kathmandu at 1400 hours and arrived in Delhi at 1545 hours. However, I was stuck in long queues at the Immigration.

I asked the Spicejet ground staff for help as I was short of cash but they refused to provide any help or compensation or at least offering a ticket at low fare in their Delhi-Pune flight scheduled at 2025 hours on the same day. I was stranded for a while and I had to take help from others to book a ticket to Pune.

I kindly request you to look into this matter and take necessary actions. I am not asking for monetary compensation but unfriendly behaviour of the airline staff and refusing to help passengers must not be neglected.

Yours sincerely,
Nishant Buragohain
